We are, we are! We will be arriving on May 16, staying at BCV for 6 days and then going on the Disney Cruise.

No this will be our first May trip. We have been the last week of April, it was unseasonably hot then. We are kind of doing a scouting trip. We are planning a May 2004, same week, trip with about 20 family members and are trying to gauge the weather and crowds that time of year.

Oh, yeah! Finally, we will visit as DVC members. We will be at the Beach Club Villas May 18-26. We are taking the auto train for the first time too. We're bringing our grandkids, son and daughter in law, and we will have a 2 BR. Can't wait.
We stayed a little longer over the same time period last year. Temperature was in the mid to upper 80"s, moderate humidty, no bugs, only one rainy day, and light crowds. We walked on almost all rides at MGM, MK, and Epcot. We rode Big Thunder Railroad several times without getting off - the same for splash mountain. The only waits were at AK, and we used the fast pass. It became more crowded near Memorial Day, but we saved the water parks (love Typhoon Lagoon) for then. We stayed in the Ft. Wilderness cabins, and we liked having a living area as well as bedroom and kitchen...this prompted us to buy into DVC for the home like acommodations.
Whoops! I am getting off the subject, but I LOVE WDW in May. The park hours were shortened until the weekend/holiday, but it really didn't put a damper on anything. Sandie

My home resort is OKW & that is where we usually stay with the kids. But we had some pts that were expiring end of May & I had to use the or lose them. Too few to take the whole family so I'm taking my best friend -- no parks, no kids, no DHs - just the sun, good food & R&R.

BTW, the airfare from Pgh. is around $230 & it has always been a lot less so either it's getting more crowded during May or they have cut a lot of flights.

Keep an eye out for 2 ladies just relaxing somewhere between the quiet pool & Stormalong Bay 5/17 - 5/20!!!!!!!!

We will be at BCV the week before, May 10th-15th. Then we are off to Port Canaveral for a DCL 3 day cruise. We went to WDW the two weeks before Memorial Day weekend last year and the weather was great (sunny and highs between 85 and the low 90's) and the crowds were pretty low until the middle of the second week. As it got closer to Memorial Day weekend the crowds really started to increase. By Wednesday prior to Memorial Day the crowds were starting to remind me of the week of Thanksgiving, manageable if you go early and leave the parks in the early afternoon.

We will be at the BCV from May 12 to the 22 with our almost 3 year old DD. Last chance to take her in the parks for free

DH, DD2 and myself will be at VB 10-13th May then at BCV for our first trip home 13-27th May. Yippee!!!

And I still haven't managed a countdown timer - shame on me!!!

Does the day before Memorial day count? That's when we arrive at OKW for 5 days, then FW cabins for 2.

We are going to be on the same cruise - I think! We are cruising the 3 nighter on 5/22. After the cruise we are going to be at BWV for 5 nights. I can't wait! I just got my Passporters (cruise and WDW) and even dh is getting excited reading everything

carone0318... YES! We are on the 5/22 3 night cruise. That is great to have another DVCer and DISer there! This will be our first cruise, it will be my husband, my self and our 2 childern, Son - 6 (will be 7 then) and Daughter - 5.

This is our first cruise too! I have to admit I am using the taboo phrase, we booked on points - yikes! But I think that I can justify it because it is over the weekend when our points are also high.

We are getting in the night before and are staying at the Radisson.

It will be me (Casey), my dh (Joe) and our 2 children. Our ds is 6, she is in first grade and our ds who just turned 2 on Valentine's Day. Maybe we could plan a meet

Casey... that sounds great. I booked on points also, I had the same idea about those weekend points. I really need to start reading more about cruising though, I would have no idea where to meet. Any ideas?
