Just wondering how many of you may have cruised during March and how the weather was at that time. The DH and I are still trying to plan our next cruise, and are stuck in deciding on a date. Thanks!!

We went on our first cruise last March and the weather was "wonder"ful!!!! We had on shorts during the day and it was warm enough for swimming in the pools. We did change into long pants at night and had light jackets/sweaters.

Castaway Cay was nice. It was warm without feeling like you were going to melt! But............the water was like ice! :cold: DH, DS, and DD were troopers and went swimming, but I didn't make it in past my ankles. They will tell you I'm a wimp.

We're going again next week (NO KIDS), so I'll let you know how it is when I get back.

I'll agree? (and circle gets the square)

We actually like going around this time. (367 days until we're off again). I'd rather leave cold and go to warm than leave warm and go to hot. But give me upper 70's - lower 80's and I'm a happy little monkey.

Great...thanks for the replies. The weather sounds nice at that time. I'm like that too...don't want to be too hot..especially since I'm red-headed and burn easily. I guess my main concern for that time of the year are the seas. We cruised in January of this year, and while the weather was fine, the seas were a little rough. I also remember that some of the other cruisers from January missed some ports. So I guess I was hoping that the seas would be a little calmer in March.

Just trying to bump this back up to see if anyone can tell me what the seas are normally like during March...TIA!!! :Pinkbounc

Hello, my first DC is next week 3/10, I will post a detailed weather report.

Hi, our first cruise was the March 02 eastern, and I guess It spoiled us with the picture perfect weather, and calmest seas. Since then, we have enjoyed our others, but this one stands out...... The absolute best weather was on that cruise....... :)

We also cruised March 02 Eastern route, had basically fabulous weather (a brief rain shower in St. Maarten that cleared up quickly and an overcast morning at Castaway Cay, both of which turned into beautiful sunny afternoons). I don't recall having bad seas either. We enjoyed it so much we're going back this month! Friends just returned from a February western and they didn't have as good luck, don't know if this was a fluke or if February is less predictable.
