CAROLE88--where do you live on LI? We lived in Kingspark from 1770-1972. My freshman roommate from Russell Sage College lives on the south shore.

It's been a while since I've posted again. I had to read two pages to catch up. I guess Rae is on the magic now BOO-HOO

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JAN!

Friday was my 35th birthday and we spent it at the VB resort. All I did was sit by the pool. It was wonderful!!

POOHBUSH: We did the early stingray and island tour excursion last year. It was perfect, because your finished by lunchtime. And the good thing about it is you put your clocks back one hour the night before! So when your getting up at 6:30-7:00 your body thinks is 7:30-8:00.

Well, I am off to finish my final project for my summer class. Then I will be finished with the class. YEA!!

Celebrating at the pool at Vero Beach sounds PERFECT!! You lucky duck!
Congrats on being done with the class. What did you take? (If you told the group before, it must be on one of the pages I skipped.)

POOHBUSH: We did an early snorkeling excursion too, but not that one. We were done in time to shower, put on dry clothes, eat on the ship (which is free) and take the tender boat back in for an afternoon of walking around the town. The people who did the same excursion in the afternoon felt like they never saw the island as they slept late, and stayed on the ship until after lunch, went on the excursion and had to come back for dinner and departure.

We had our staterooms already selected, that's what surprised us about receiving the upgrade, it came completely unexpected, but I'm not complaining!!!!!

VERANDAMAN: This is one of those times when you say SUPERCALIFRIGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIOUS and SERENDIPITY in the same sentence.
I am always glad when someone gets an upgrade. What saddens me is when people think that if they complain about something they will get an upgrade. If something is unsafe or not what was promised, yes, reporting it is appropriate. But when I read some of the posts on the DIS it seems like people are looking for something to complain about and then if they don't get a free upgrade they complain about that.

Add us to the list. Us is me (TeAntae-33) and my hubby (Bryan-39). This will be our 1st anniversary cruise. For the regulars here, I was posting up a storm last year right before Halloween (wedding day) as the Nov. 3 (?) Wonder cruise was our honeymoon cruise!

If you were on that cruise, we wore our wedding ears for the embarkation!

It'll be 1 year exactly when we get to Castaway Cay on Halloween! WAAAAHOOOO!!!!!

You have the same wedding anniversary as my mum and dad. I haven't a clue how long they've been married but I know it's on Halloween.

Every time I see someone new posting I keep hoping there'll be someone my age but nevermind. Maybe Common Grounds will be better this time and I'm not letting it ruin my cruise even if it's not!

Have you looked at the cruise critic boards for fellow cruisers? I found a girl and a guy my age there....although they don't post on cruise critic and I can't convince their aunt to tell them! I'll look there for you and see whether there is anyone! I'll email you with the post if there is!
