Can you believe how close we are everyone? This is so exciting - Karen, you are closer than the rest of us!! Are you tearing your hair out yet?

Ordered my baskets from Shirley - She is so wonderful to work with - Can't wait to see them - But SHHHHHHH - don't tell my family, it's a surprise -

Speaking of family, I have told them that this weekend is packing weekend - Once it goes in, it doesn't come out until we are on the boat! I think my 5 year old wants to bring her whole room!

We love doing the late dining - And we have a 5 year old with us - We never felt rushed going anywhere - I think the time difference for us does help (3 hours because we are west coast)
We could always roam the ship and take our time - I liked it because Kaitlin could have her picture taken with the characters in the Atrium before dinner - Which is great because her clothes were still clean! It just workeds better for us!

dzneprincess - Watermelon pucker is a watermelon flavored sweet and sour schnapps. We use it mixed with vodka to make watermelon martinis. Pucker also comes in a few other flavors. My husband likes the apple flavor for apple martinis. There is a liquor store called ABC Fine Wine & Spirits at 6020 N. Atlantic Ave. in Cape Canaveral.

First off I have not packed My usual Type A personality is in slow motion. I do have a plan though. I emailed my MIL a packing list. I am going to a Walmart Super Center to buy remaining items bc I have almost everything just not all together and then while shopping for items at Walmart I can have the oil changed in my van Plus I looked all day for a new umbrella stroller with the net on the bag to hold little things but did not find one and then I tried to find just the net that you can hook on the back, no luck.................I realized Florence SC is not the shopping capital of the world so I will head to Myrtle Beach to search this weekend.

I like both Emily and Lillie but what about Emma? Like our sweet smart Emma aka Rosegreen thumb that started this thread so long ago for us? I love that name.

Oh well, anyone else watching TS #19 or am I being paranoid? Not so worried about the cruise but my house which is running behind contract........of to the sleeping war with the 2 year

We used to love the late seating, when it was just the two of us! Now with Katie, we're going to stick with early dining. Don't want to alter her schedule too much! So glad the waitlist cleared!

I also ordered Perfect Gift baskets from Shirley. What a sweetheart she is! Her granddaughter is also named Katie, so we talked about our girls! I ordered a sand pail basket for my little sweetie. And I ordered a "surprise" basket for my in-laws. What's in their basket is the surprise, as I just asked Shirley to make up whatever she felt like! Should be fun!

Regarding the special Halloween gifts you can order thru DCL: My TA called me a couple of days ago to say she had recieved a brochure with all of this info. for us. I told her it was old news. She did say it had pictures of the items. I am going to pick it up here soon. I would like to see what the gifts look like.

Tiff- My 9, soon to be 10 year old twins are asleep on my bedroom floor as I type. Daddy isn't home, and there is a thunderstorm. I figured out early on that they will be in here quite often, that's okay, because before you know it they will act like we have the plague and want nothing to do with us.

I half packed today, then decided it was too much and turned on Dr. Phil. I am a big type A person, and can't believe how much I am procrastinating! We leave next Thursday(driving down) and have so much more to do and arrange.

Oh, Tiff you almost made me cry when I read this. I love the name Emma too but not nearly as much as I love my own darling Rose Greenthumb.

Okay guys, looking for a bit of help here. We want to wear t-shirts when we board so that other DIS'ers can spot us (and give us a wide berth!!). Mark is going to print these.

We can go for some Halloween picture but Mark would like to link it to Emma's DIS name Rose Greenthumb in some way. Any ideas? All I can find at the moment are pictures of hairy fat male hobbits and I don't think Emma will be impressed.

Any suggestions where we can find some clip art or designs quickly. Yes, I know, we are leaving on Friday, why the heck are we doing this now!!??!! It's called upping your stress levels.

What about Mexicali night. I know to wear bright tropical clothes and don't want to start a war on my page but do Men wear shorts with their tropical shirts? I need to advise my DD and what about my 2 and 5 year old DS's can they wear nice shorts with their tropical shirts or is that wrong.................

I've heard ocnflicting reports everywhere about the shorts on Mexican night. My personal opinion (not that it matters ) is that your sons are young enough to wear nice shorts for that evening. As for your DD - I plan on looking for something in Cozumel; a dress or pareo or something fun.

MY DH, MIL, and FIL are all wearing pants. I have a dress for Katie, and I'm wearing a skort (skirt front, shorts back.) It really took some convincing just to get my DH to get a tropical shirt!

Amanda, hope the fax turned out alright. I'm guessing the pictures will be hard to see clearly.
