Any Maclaren Volo owners (esp. 2004 models) - need help!

We bought our awesome Volo in 2004 for our Disney trip. We use it all the time now for our new child (almost 2) and are returning to Disney in a few weeks. Something has bothered me for a while but I never thought to post about it...we can not get the straps tight. My son easily climbs out (our dd wasn't a climber so it wasn't an issue with her). It appears to me that I have the straps at the highest setting but nothing gets them tight. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Please help if you have any suggestions. I'm nervous about our upcoming trip. Thanks!

but I removed all the straps. My younger ds hates straps. At any rate, my Girlfriend was having issues with her Maclaren Rally twin straps and buckles and she told me a batch of Maclarens rolled out with strap and buckle issues. It would be worth it to call Maclaren and ask if your stroller was affected. They may send you new straps.

I love how you can just take all the straps right out of that stroller!
