Any luck with National ID's and Coupons codes

I currently have both the *57 and the *67 codes booked for my car in June. Anyone out there use either one of these within the past few weeks/months? Waiting for DISers to get back from WDW to report on luck or no luck.

I put in the contract ID 8572967 with Coupon ND2119071Q and got a fantastic rate!!! ummmmm what is this contract and coupon. Is it the infamous travel agent one??
I also put in contract IS 8572957 and got a great rate....what is this one. I am scared to book anyone.

Can anyone tell me what the two contract IDs are for and what coupon I will need to produce. I dont want to call and call attention to anything so they flag the codes and coupons. THANKS...I tried looking back but there are so many listed.

Just back yesterday from trip to WDW (4/26 thru 5/2). Used *57 and Coupon ND2119071Q for a total of $92.07 for Emerald Aisle Intermediate. No problems at all! We picked our car (Toyota Rav4) and at the check out shack, gave the lady our driver's license, Emerald Aisle card and Visa. She did not hesitate, ask any questions or anything. She was very pleasant and made small talk, gave us our cards back and a receipt that said $92.07.

When we returned the car, the man with the scanner printed out our receipt without any questions. It too said $92.07. I just now got our emailed receipt and, you guessed it, bottom line - $92.07.

Hakuna Matata!:cool1:

Just returned from Orlando using the contract ID 8572967 with Coupon ND2119071Q. We had a mini-van for 11 days (6 were for DH's conference) and it was right around $500. Not a question was asked and we paid what was quoted.

GREAT to hear so many success stories!! (Between this and the other thread).:thumbsup2

just figured I would post that picked up convertible in Fort Myers with the 57 code. No questions asked 88.00 for 2 days with full insurance and such. Dropped car off at Disney car care center no questions asked. Thanks for all the help.

Picked up mini van on 5/5 with the 57 code too. No questions were asked of me, so off I went paying 263.00 for 10 days. What could be better then extra $$$'s in my pocket for Disney use.:yay: :dance3:

Do you think it is ok to use this code for my 9/27-10/4 trip? I just put in the above contract id# and coupon and got a great rate. I am so scared they are going to ask for something at the counter. It does say in red you may need to produce a coupon.....would you all just go for it and book it?

This is probably a stupid question......but do they charge your credit card now or do you pay for the week at the counter? I have never rented from National before and just joined the Emerald club...not sure how this all works...?

They charge your credit card when you return the car.

WOW!! Thanks so much for the info! I just reserved a minivan for a week using the 67 contract ID and coupon and my total says $165.33!! That is fantastic!!!:cool1:

I got the same minivan rate with both the *67 & *57 codes for June 7-14. For Emerald Isle midsize, the rate with the same codes and dates was $92.07.

Does anyone know how long before your trip you have to cancel a ressie before you are charged?

I just booked a mini van for our Oct. trip. The total came to $117.00 using Contract ID 8572967, and coupon ND2119071Q.

Think this will work? I'm nervous, because this is an awesome rate! Any idea where the ID and coupon codes came from?

anyone know if I need to present anything to use this code 8572957? I know, don't call, don't email; it works. But do I need to print out anything?

Ok, I'm back! :rotfl:

re using code "57" - Travel Solutions - I wanted everyone to know that, when you sign the contract, there is a signature line you need to sign on stating that you are eligible for the rate offered! So - travelers use at your own risk!

Also, someone asked about cancellation policies - I checked about 2 weeks ago directly on National's web site and it stated I had 24 hours to cancel. In actuality, I cancelled a ressie within 23 hours and they said they wouldn't charge me.

Another interesting observation - I booked w/National at the CCC. Alamo bus picked me up and dropped me off at the Alamo counter. I asked where National's counter was and they said they ARE National too. (which I knew.) So, they serve two markets - Alamo & National both under the Alamo umbrella.

Thanks for the head's up. Sound's like you went to the counter if you had to sign a contract. For us Emerald Club members, I believe we are subject to the same terms based on a signiature on file with National from when we signed the master contract for Emerald Aisle. So far people have been able to use the code but it appears National's bases are covered to clamp down and enforce ID if they wish too. If these codes are, in fact, not intended for the public, I would rather see them simply change the codes going forward and honor reservations already made. I'm afraid they are going to study their data of the number of outstanding reservations under this nonpublic code and realize how much money they are losing and decide to enforce that only eligible users are renting at the gate. Will need to continue to watch this closely.

I'm an Emerald Club member; however, at the CCC, you can ONLY go to the counter! I assume they could be enforcing that code when someone has an "incident" with the vehicle! I had a 2nd ressie booked 25 hours later w/another company so I could back out if I wasn't comfortable with the terms.

I just did the free Executive Emerald Aisle registration (confirmation said it was free, website lists teir: executive and the fullsize for price of midsize worked), then made a reservation for 8 days of a full size using the *67 contract ID and the $35 coupon and my total was $93. It included the free insurance and all that too.

So $93 for 8 days with a guarantee of at least a full size but can take anything on the executive or regular emerald aisles.

We do have a backup just in case. I'll report back after our trip and let you know how it goes!

Ok, so I booked a car through National several weeks ago, using the codes I've found here and an e-coupon. On my confirmation, it deducts the coupon, and then adds it back in. What's up with that?? And, how can I tell if I am eligible for EA from my reservation? What size do I need to reserve?? I am an Emerald club member, but have never used Emerald Aisle. Can anyone help me?:confused3
