Any luck with National ID's and Coupons codes

I have two three day rentals in Sep and Oct - does anyone know of any coupons that would work at that time?

Help, I can't remember what this ID was for.......I am so bad. Was this the international VISA one. I used it on my reservation and can't remember if it was a VISA one or if it was one I need to be nervous about.....LOL
I also used coupon #ND2119071Q and again can't for the life of me find the bit of paper I wrote on...I am pretty sure this was an E-Coupon....HELP.
Anyone can you help me?

That code is the Carlson Code and the coupon is an E-Coupon.

At the moment I have 3 ressies. I am going to cancle 2 of them. I have one with the VISA, one with the CARLTON and one with the "67" courtesy number. I am only going to keep one. I think I will keep the 67 one it is the middle price but I feel much safer using it!!!

No one knows. It's a mystery coupon and no coupon to copy to take with you.

It is an E-coupon. They always say you MAY need the coupon everytime you book with one. If you go to Car rental savers.com, they have it listed there. Tons of people have posted and you do not need to show the coupon. If you have an entertainment coupon, you would need to show that, since it is a paper coupon.

I just used this coupon last week for my rental with no problem. Actually on my confirmation sheet it states that it is indeed a "web coupon" as other posters have pointed out.

Ive been trying the entertainment coupons and the prices are ridiculous. Even the 2 car class upgrade still puts me at $375. Hoping to find some good codes before october!

From what I've found on these codes - the first is a "Complimentary code" and the second is an e-coupon for National that expires in Dec 2008. So no coupons necessary to have in hand. When you book using the coupon the reservation confirmation will list it as Blogcoupon-zl-wkly#1

A spouse, significant other or relative who lives with you is free as an additional driver if you are part of the Emerald Club, as are business associates when travelling on business. There stil may be a charge for other additional drivers. -- suzanne

the 57 code was a travels code and the 67 was the complimentary code...

2. Also, why is it that when I attempt a reservation going through my Emerald Club it is $1200 for a 2 week minivan rental but if I sign out and try again WITHOUT my Emerald Club it is $404?

3. How do I take advantage of being an Emerald Club member (free spouse driver) if I dont make the reservation through the Emerald Club? Can I just go to the counter and tell them and give them my number or do I have to do it ahead of time on the phone?

Thanks....this will be great if I can manage it. It is $40 cheaper than my Dollar reservation and will include a second driver free......

Oops, I forgot to specify that the code ending in 57 was a from a travel agency, maybe meaning an employee discount, and therefore people were nervous about using it. The one ending in 67 is the "complimentary" code and I believe the person who posted that said it was a more public code.

Please, please, please forgive me if this has been answered. My head is always spinning with these codes, IDs, coupons, etc. I am getting cars for two separate trips. June - Ft Myers and September WDW!!
I can't remember if it was ever explained as to why they take a coupon away and then add part or almost all back in for certain choices. I am just curious. I did get a great rate with the 67 and am not working on the back ups at Alamo.

I should have posted sooner. I used the $35. coupon (ND2119071Q) for my last 3 rentals, no problem.
I am using it again tomorrow.

I'll take a guess at #2. When I log in as Emerald Club, the contract ID code defaults to one that was linked to the company I signed up through. Maybe that is happening to you and that ID is quoting a bad rate. Try logging in to EC and then remove the contract ID or change it to the one you want to use.
