Any luck with National ID's and Coupons codes

Anyone have any great rates with certain ID numbers and coupon codes for National in March. The best combo i have found is ID 8572987 and coupon ND2119071Q. The ID is for visa card holders with a 20% off rate and the coupon is for $35.00 five days or more. Im curious what others have had better luck.

I got a great rate for september but with these codes but what is it from? It mentions having to present coupon....

National website always states that coupon may need to be presented. The one's on Nal't site are e-coupons and you do not need physical coupon. The coupon your asking about is an e-coupon.

So far all reports have come back good. not only from this site but flyertalk.com also. Nothing special had to be shone. all you need is your drivers license, resie, and credit card.

I am happy to see the code working so far for those who have used it. So far so good! The only rental car agency that has recenltly enforced codes and required ID at the gate is Avis. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

Hello I used the code 5063773 for National on a June rental and got a great rate. I also used coupon NF2002FDR for a free day. Four days I have a rental from the emerald isle for only $105.00. The visa code of 8572987 was much more.

FYI,

I just made a reservation for end of June through SimplyWheelz by Hertz that beat the VISA Magic code with the $30 coupon by $40.

I will still keep checking National since I like the idea of picking up the car right at the terminal but we have always rented from Hertz before so its in my "comfort zone" plus now its cheaper.

I used this visa code in March with no problem this year. I also had no problem with the $35.00 coupon. No one asked me to present it.

The visa code is a promotion by Visa. I have never had to present a coupon at the Orlando airport when renting a car. But I am sure there could always be a first time. If you are using a National coupon you should be just fine.

That is a Contract ID and those you never need something printed out. It is the coupons that you sometimes need the actual coupon.

After taxes my total is $159.00!

I think that's a great rate! I can't imagine even Dollar will beat that this year!

I'm seeing a big jump in price with the Visa Card code 8572987 today from what it was last week. Glad I booked! I have a compact for about 274.00, today same details, $469.

Wonder if others are seeing the same?

Holy Cow!!! I just checked the Visa code for our dates in August (14-24) and a full size is $892. Even a compact is up to $856.

This is getting ridiculous.

I checked the visa code for our October trip again today and the price was still high. It was over $700 today. Using the code 8572957 is dropped down to $249.00. Interesting....
