Any luck with National ID's and Coupons codes

We seem to have divided opinions from Nat'l, so I called and asked about both 57 and 67, and the young lady looked them up and said both were complimentary codes from Travel Solutions. I said aloud to her "so that means when I get to the window they will not tell me these codes are invalid?" She chuckled and said no. Either she has spoken with some of you and is familiar with the question, or ???? So, we are going with 57 for later May.

Hi Dan - sorry that we won't be there to connect this trip - hope you have a wonderful time!! :wave2: Caroline

Ok, I just saved another $20  using the ID# 8572957 with the
NF1982JDD coupon...

I just started looking for a car. If I understand correctly, the ID #8572957 is a complimentary code than anyone can use without showing any ID or coupon.

What is the NF1982JDD coupon? Do I actually need a coupon at EA for this...if so where did it come from?

Thanks.

I would agree with PP. We all know that it works now, so read the board through carefully and decide on your own risk factor. NO MORE CALLS OR EMAILS TO NATIONAL ABOUT THE CODES. Now that is said

Everyone have fun on your trip:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I agree, the last time we had a really good code folks kept calling and asking and the code got discontinued. Hopefully that is not what you want. Lets just wait and see how our brave scouts do using it for the first time. So far we have a come back with a positive outcome.

I have a really dumb question - we have been Emerald Aisle members for years, but this year we are using it for the first time. I know you bypass the counter and go pick out your car, but, what if you are reserving a luxury car -do you have to pick out a car within the "emerald aisle" or can you just get into a luxury car and drive it to the gate???

We've always just went through alamo and went to the counter, and was assigned a car, so this is totally new to us :confused3

Kimisabella, If your reservation says Emerald Reserve, which it should, you go to that section in the garage and pick out your choice of car from that section. The only exceptions I believe are if you are using a free day coupon or adding an additional driver....I am not sure if they can do that in the garage but perhaps someone else can chime in if that is not entirely correct. If you read your email reservation it will tell you if you need to report to the desk or report to the garage and select your car from the reserved class. It should be at the top just after your res. # and look something like this. Your level of service is Emerald Reserve. Please proceed directly to the rental lot and the car class reserved to choose your vehicle. Of course I am also assuming that you are speaking of renting at MCO. Other locations and airports have different policies. Hope this helps.

I really want to use these codes, but I'm just too chicken. I hope more folks will post back with favorable outcomes.

Wasn't code 5063773 one of the codes talked about here? Read this.........

Travel Agent Rate Program– With special rates for agent travel—as low as $24.99 per day for a compact car in the U.S.—you can see the states for less. Request Contract ID 5063773 or enter /CD-5063773 in the GDS when booking. Must present valid IATAN or CLIA identification at time of rental. Requires Saturday-night keep. Other restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice.

We used this combo 5602728
NU1978FJH

at Disney in March (no issue); in St Louis last weekend (without issue) and will be using it in Chicago in May - confirmed contract.

No problems at all!

I was excited to see a new code to try, but this gave the same rate as with not using any code at all???

National went down a few more dollars for early May.
I used ND2119071Q.
Good luck.

Yeah the board apparently decided to make the rate and coupon one line - I fixed it above.

Just picked up my Executive Selection Dodge Journey with 613 miles at MCO using the "67" code along with the $35 coupon. No issues or questions upon driving off the lot.
