Any luck booking AKL Concierge at 7 Month Window?

Looking to plan our second trip to AKL, we would like to try the Concierge this time, could not get it last year. Anyone having luck booking it at the 7 month window, we are OKW owners.......

give it a shot at exactly 7 months out. be prepared to waitlist.

but make a reservation at OKW at 11 months just in case the AKV-concierge villa doesn't come through.

Concierge gets you what, exactly? I know: there's a lounge w/ food, daily mousekeeping, and I'm not sure what else?

I have tried twice now at the 7 month mark for August without any success! I have read people getting it in less than 7 months, but it was probably during slower times. Also, I was trying to book it for five days!

I booked at BCV for 3 ngts from Aug 1-3 and AKLC (1 bedroom) Aug 4-7 at a little less then 7 month window. My home report is Saratoga Springs. Last year during spring break no availability but, for the last two years in Aug. we had success. Booked 1 full wk in a studio AKLC and then second full wk at Beach Club, also the year before, split stay in Vero for 4 ngts and then 4 ngts again in AKLC. I guess I was lucky to get what I wanted. Keep trying you never know what might open up!

I got it last June from a waitlist (one month out). It was only 2 nights though. The bigger problem is, now I'm hooked. We had to do an add-on that trip so we would have a better chance

I could not get 3 nights in May calling the minute my 7 month window opened. We also are adding AKV to have the 11 month booking window for concierge.

Well, we own at AKV and we've tried twice - with no success - to book concierge at 11 months. But then again keep in mind that we are always trying for our summer trips, so it's a busier time. Maybe people have more luck during slower seasons?

I was able to book right at 7 mos for Easter this year, studio for 3 nights. We were able to book it 2 years ago too for Easter. We can't wait. DD really wants concierge, so it will be a surprise as we just told her we have a room at AKL.. We are doing the Sunrise safari on Easter ( our wedding anniversary).

I was able to book the first year we bought DVC, our trip was in August and bought DVC and when came home we became DVC member. We tried booking it in Sept and I was able to get a full week for early December, after caling every day of the week twice daily lol. I think we just got really lucky.
