Any Luck asking member service to post points in account

I have closed and received an email about my add on. The membership is showing in my account and I called Saturday to see if member services could expedite the transfer of points. I have a stay coming up on May 2nd and because I could only borrow half my points, half the stay is cash. I really was hoping to use my new points for this reservation and there is showing availability. However, the CM I talked to said no, and further said there is not estimate of the time it will take for them to post. My email said seven to ten business days!! Does anyone think it worth calling back on a weekday and seeing if this can be done? I have read other people have had luck getting their points transferred early. It was a two hour wait on Saturday and I hate to do it again if there is no chance of success. Also called the regular 800 member number. Maybe there is another place to call?
 
It took about 7 days for my points to post to my account earlier this year. That's what you should expect.
 
Not sure who/where it said that you can call to get points added faster. My agent, closing company and DVC all sent me emails saying that my points would be added to my account 7-10 days after the account was set up. None of them ever mentioned anything about calling to get them added quicker.
 

Give a call back and make sure to mention the trip. It’s possible they will expedite.

I Will say that when I closed last summer they had an issue and didn’t get the right info so it took a few days of calling it checking.

The only drawback right now is having to wait on hold but it may be worth that in your case!
 
I had a contract post yesterday morning and points loaded today. I sent an email a couple days ago inquiring as I've been down this road before. I'd try the chat function as it does pop up and I've been able to use it lately. You shouldn't have to wait more than a couple days! Good luck!
 
UPDATE: After hearing yesterday there was no way for them to post earlier, this afternoon they magically appeared in my account. It is like everyone says, you complain on this board and somehow it ends up working out!!:flower1:
