I hope this comment (and question) is not inappropriate, but I love the WDW commercial where the little girl informs everyone on the elevator that her mother calls her baby brother her "little souvenir"....

It especially hits home for me because I have a little souvenir of my own! He's 13 now, but it seems like just yesterday his father and I were having the best vacation of our lives....

I like to tease him that he's such a happy kid because of where he was concieved -

Anyone else have a little souvenir of their own?

Nope, not yet, but, as we watched the commercial a couple of weeks ago I told DH that was the one "souvenir" I wanted for our trip in december ;) .

One of ours is a souveneir of a trip to Pennsylvania!

my wife did throw me for a shock when she informed me that she wanted to get a "souvenier" after 14 years of marriage. I thought she wanted something to eat, when she told me she was ready. That is the main reason she went to WDW, but nope I had to sit down and aske her again. This is my most Magical Moment of my life, not just my Disney vacations. One month later he was on his way.

He is now 3 and a WDW veteran, he has 8 trips under his belt and number 9 this November.

:p

Not only is he a WDW sovenir.. he's a honeymoon souvenir.
And he is returning to WDW for his 6th Birthday in November...

Yes, from our last trip at Fort Wilderness. The 2 cruises didn't work :( , I guess the "camping" atmosphere did the trick;) .

We have 3 boys. Our oldest was with us but we didn't know it at the time. With our 2 youngest we ended up having to cancel the trips because of the due dates. I jsut tell people that my dh thought it was cheaper to have kids than to have me in DW with a credit card.;) :p

We are going in August so who knows what will happen. Would like a girl this time, finding a 4th name for a boy would be nearly impossible.;)

Yep, my 7 year old DD is a souvenier from my honeymoon trip to the Poly. And, we had 25 members of my DH's family with us!

We have a souvenier from Playa Del Carmen, Mexico!

My almost 9 year old souvenier came from San Fransisco!

Both of my little souveniers were with me on trips to WDW. I just didn't know until I got home. Made me very nervous about going to WDW again, but I finally got over it. We've made one trip without a souvenier and have another one planned. Shouldn't be an issue anymore since DH is "fixed"!

Everyone, Please keep your fingers crossed for me! I'm hoping to bring back a "little souvenir" from our big trip in November!!

My son is a souvenir of our very first vacation together, a few miles from home at the Jersey Shore.

Now, he and his wife are hoping for a souvenir of our upcoming December trip (not planned to accomodate a souvenir, by the way!). My granddaughter is starting to ask for a brother or sister!

Yup, two years of trying and nothing. Two weeks after our trip and a leisurely week at WL we got pregnant. They don't call it the Magic Kingdom for nothing.

Our 5 yr old son is a souvenier from our carribean cruise and our 19 month old son is a souvenier from our trip to Disney! We think it is funny that both resulted from a big vacation trip. The 5 yr old has been to Disney twice and the 19 month old will make his first trip in November. But we aren't expecting any new souveniers!

I love that commercial!

Yep!! We have a 17 yr. old souvenir. He seems to love Disney much more than his sister. We can only attribute this to his wonderful, magical beginning at WDW.

Boy I hope it works for us this time. We tried for our DD for over 4 years. (she's 2 1/2 now) We didn't have any luck in Nov. but maybe the next trip in May will do the trick. Keep your fingers crossed for us. We've been trying for 2 1/2 years now.
Here's a quick question for all you that brought home a "souviner", Did you consider naming your child something form there?

Our daughter is a souvenir of a one-night trip to Atlantic City to see Tony Bennett. We stayed at the Taj Mahal, and someday I'll have to apologize to my daughter for her having been conceived in a Donald Trump establishment.

Tony was great and we met him backstage afterward.

We considered the name Anthony or Antonia, but decided against.

My DS is truly a disney son. My husband hates it when I tell people this but I think it is funny. He is now 5 years old and loves mickey and disney.

We had a little souvenier from our last trip in July 2001. Unfortunately, we lost our little girl to a miscarriage, but it is still a sweet memory for us. We called her Walt (oops!), now we call her Angel. :*) Still trying with no luck, hoping for that Disney magic again in 40 days!!!
