Any little girls show up to BBB with dresses already on?

We have a pre-RD reservation and I'd like to get pictures of the girls in front of the castle with dresses on. Is it a big deal if they show up to BBB already dressed?

Great, thank you. I keep reading about them coming out of the dressing room with a big reveal and hoped she wouldn't stand out for not doing that.

I plan to take a dress but I may end up buying one once I get there. I may end up buying one but her wearing the one we brought. I have the Anna Coronation dress and I love it! It would be wonderful to save the money but we'll see.

Once she gets her hair and nails done, she'll feel every bit the princess without having to have a new dress.

I have seen a lot of parents bring their own dress and then have them put it on at BBB.

disney does not care that they are already dressed for BBB.
i've seen many girls with dresses on already.
the only time i would think its unpractical is if you are getting a package that includes a dress.

We did BBB a number of times through the years and my daughter always arrived fully dressed. I wouldn't know about the dressing rooms and big reveal if I hadn't read about it here on the DIS.

Have fun!

Our DD wore her dress to BBB in August and it was no problem at all.

We bought our DD's dresses at the Disney Store when they were having a sale.
We had a 9AM BBB reservation and so it was just easier (and smarter if you ask me) to have them wear the dresses to the park that day. I didn't want to be carrying all the extra clothes all day after they changed.

It was absolutely no problem at all!!! I didn't see any other little girl come out of the dressing room for the 'big reveal' that you talk about?? Not saying it doesn't happen...I just never saw it.

My DD's felt every bit the princesses after the hair/nails/makeup and all the fun cute things the Fairy GodMothers do! Even the PP photographer was super great and fun!!!

Don't forget to go to Castle Couture right behind the castle where they have a little photo studio that you can get great pics of your princess!
(At least it was there last year ) :thumbsup2

We did exactly this, and my daughter felt every bit the princess. She didn't feel like she was missing out by not picking a dress from BBB & the price difference between bringing & buying was fairly significant. Do what works for your family & your budget.

I hope your daughter has a wonderful time!!

It saved us a lot of time and hassle to arrive pre-dressed, actually! :)

Same here.

And now that I think about it, it never even occurred to me to bring her dress to dress her up at the BBB. Mind you, we always have an early reservation. I suppose if you have an apt. later in the day, you might bring the dress with you.

It's the only way we ever did it. All of my daughter's park dresses were either from Chasing Fireflies or her grandmother made them for her.

My daughter put her dress on before, and then we picked out gloves and a purse at BBB

I'm so glad this isn't a rarity. And yes, so much less hassle I would think. I think I'm going to do the gloves/purse/crown/shoes thing there though. She'd LOVE that.
