Can you tell me what it might cost for 6 passengers? I read once that this was a good option for a larger party but I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has done it.

I was looking into renting a limo for this trip too, the quotes I received from various companies was $55-$80 plus gratuity.
After reading many reviews on other boards about the limo drivers showing up late or not showing at all I decide to go with the taxi for $40.

We have taken taxi vans from SNA for a party as big as 8. You just go out to the taxi area outside of baggage claim and tell the attendant how big your party is and they will call the appropriate sized car (or van) up for you. $35-40 and super easy!

Thank you all! Appreciate the help.

We will do a taxi, just need to figure out how to do that without using the word Disney as it is a surprise and we want our son to figure it out as we get there. I guess I can make up a note or try to distract him.

Oh the fun of surprising an 8 year old!

Thanks! We'll either do a taxi or supershuttle. I found some good coupon codes that work from SNA to Disneyland on SuperShuttle if anyone is interested. You get $2 off pp/each way or $5 off each way for an exclusive van. The exclusive van is pricey this year--$67 compared to the $47 cost last year. I figure with 6 people in our party we can get a shared van, which holds 7 passengers, and likely have it to ourselves anyway.

Forgot to ask: when returning from DLH to SNA via taxi, do you have Guest Services phone a taxi for you? Is the price the same going back (I'd heard that you pay more on the return)? How soon do you need to call for a taxi before leaving for the airport?

Edited to ask one more question: Do you need booster seats for 4-year-olds in shuttles and taxis?

This is probably a stupid question.... is John Wayne Airport the same as SNA?? We will be flying in from Des Moines, and the choices that come up for flights are LAX or John Wayne/Orange County.

John Wayne and SNA are the same,

I believe Califor. law is car seats or boosters till 6 years or 60 pounds.
