Any Larger Ladies in the Half/Full Marathon?

Okay, I have a serious question here... Are there any larger ladies who will be participating in the half or full marathon in January? And I'm not talking about "average" size women. I mean, those that are considered overweight by medical standards. Because I am, and I do not want to be waddling down the course having everyone stare at me and thinking "what in the world is that fatso doing here?!"

I love that you posted this question. I am not going to be at the DW marathon or half, but I did the DL Half in September and I was worried about the same thing. I was stressing when I checked in and everyone in line around me looked like they were runners! I don't. I was happy to see, when we lined up in the morning, a lot of people that looked like me. I think you will be in good company at these Disney races. I do wish I could be there with you!

Oh please do join us on the Events/Competition side of WISH! We have a variety of people participating.

Yes, you will see many folks of varying sizes/shapes/ages....at the WDW event. There is no critique of size. If you can maintain the pace, you are there!

Right now folks on the Events/Competition side of WISH are talking in groups for whatever event we are participating. Along with that there is a monthly Walkers and Runners thread where just about anything and everything is discussed.
