Ok I just watched "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead". Pretty inspiring. Not sure I want to do it like Joe and Phil did but maybe just occasional and a rebbot every now and then.
I have a major sweet tooth and pretty rarely eat fruit and never a vegetable! I'd love the thought of drinking them but if I'm going to do that I'm going to do it myself and not the V8's full of other stuff.
SO I've been researching a ton and have basically learned there are the Breville (centrifuge type) that runs at 13000 rpms. They are louder, produces more foam, has a larger opening (less prep time), really seperates juices like tomato to look like a grey liquid and the other half is foam.
The Omega juice is a compression type that runs at 80rpms! Much more quiet, smaller opeing (more prep w/ chopping), smaller unit. The tomato juice actually looks like tomato juice! The Omega has slightly more pulp left in it. Seems like the Omega is 'better' but so many people swear by their breville.
Not sure which is better. "They" say that the faster Breville causes too much oxidation of the food w/ the high spinning and damages the nutrient value - not sure how true this is.
Anyhoo - do you have one? Do you like it or not - or another brand??
Thanks!
