Any issue with Raise?

has anyone had any issues with buying gift cards through Raise? Specifically with Home Depot, Lowes or IKEA?

Seems like a great deal, but I'm just wondering how that works, especially with the gift cards that don't physically deliver, I think they either do an e-card or deliver it to your e-wallet? How do those work?

I have only bought Target ecards through Raise. I only had one issue that was corrected by Raise.

One card I had ordered was used by me immediately except for about 35 dollars. The next day, I went to use the card and the balance was gone. A look at the card history showed it was used by someone 2000 miles away.

I contacted Raise immediately and gave them the details. After they investigated, they refunded me my lost amount.

I've had more than a couple of problems with Raise GCs being drained before I could use them. Not all of them were Target GCs. Each and every time, Raise refunded my money.

No problems with raise for Lowes or Home Depot. Keep in mind the Lowes must be used in store. It has given us a big discount on our home renovations. We always use the cards up quickly, though.

if you buy the target cards from them and then load them to your online account, can they still be used by others?

We bought one for Lowe's and had absolutely no problem. They e-mailed the voucher to us, we printed it up, and they scanned the bar code in the store for our purchase. It was a handsome savings! Whether I buy gift cards from Raise or eBay, I always make sure I am going to use them almost right away, for the reasons mentioned above.

I just had a PetCo card, which I purchased for 33.5% off, come up empty. I guess the refund is nice, but they're only offering ~15% off now.

I've been buying a lot of cards on Raise. The ones I have the most problems with are Whole Foods. Anytime I can get a physical card, I try to, because I figure if I have the card in hand, it's less likely be be drained before I can use it. That said, every time it's happened, I've called, emailed or done chat support with Raise and have gotten a full refund.

We saved a lot of money re-doing our bathroom this year using Lowe's gift cards from Raise.

If you're not going to use your gift card right away at Target, you can use your gift card to purchase another gift card. You can also do this to combine multiple smaller cards into one larger card.

Just purchased a couple of Lowe's last week. Used in store no issue..14% off. Leftover went to the Lowe's card for 5% off. I only buy the cards before I am ready to use them. I don't have to worry about losing or them being drained.

that's a smart idea.. i've been buying disney cards asap so havent had an issue. i do have like 90 cents left on a card until i buy more from raise.. hopefully it doesnt go anywhere lol
