Any info on Story time by the Halloween Tree?

Did you mention it in the Superthread (not only to let them know about it, but also in case someone saw it and knows something)?

Also, I think that some people who are not as familiar with the Ray Bradbury Halloween Tree might see the title of the thread and think that you're referring to the new tree in the GCH lobby (that's what I thought when I saw the thread, even though I am familiar with the Halloween Tree! ).

GCH lobby is exactly what I thought too, I have no idea why though. I know of the tree in DL but maybe because the tree in GCH has had all the press lately that's why I assumed it was that one? Had to click through to the article, it sounds like a cute little event!

Disneyluvr2, lcasa and I did this last month We were sitting on a bench near the tree and wondered what the CM was doing standing next to the tree with a lighted wand in her hand. So...we went over and asked! She began to tell us a story and she gave us a little quiz, which was fun! It included Halloween traditions from other countries and it was multiple choice (ex: in what country do they celebrate Dia de los Muertos) (so sorry if I butchered that). We enjoyed it. I'm sorry to say I don't remember too much about the story but maybe dl2 or lcasa will chime in! Their memories are far superior to mine.

ETA: Oh yes! I forgot to mention that she told us the history of the tree and its relation to Ray Bradbury, who was a huge Disney fan.

I just finished reading it a couple of days ago! Getting ready to leave for DLR in a few days and wanted to read it before we got there.
