Any info on extending Wilderness Lodge Contract

I know they did it Broadwalk buying another 10 years on you contract. I was made to understand that it sold very well.

Nope, that hasn't happened. They only extended OKW for another 15 years and it wasn't that successful. Why pay now for something you are not going to benefit from until 2042?

As I recall, the initial extension offer was for $25/point, but those who accepted within a certain time frame could get the extension for $15/point.

Since the extended contracts do not sell for anything close to that much more than the un-extended contracts, it appears that most do not think the extension is worth it, even now.

I do not look for Disney to extend the other resorts in the near future.

I agree, doing so now has little impact, but I think extensions would be more feasble and have a better reception maybe 15 years before expiration....more people will look favorably and it will also re-energize some of the resales.....
