Any info on city and dates for Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montanna Concert Tour?

I am flipping out!!!!!! I swear I am spitting nails. I got thru several times for 3, for 2, when I got to the part to pay (all my info was in) it said I was out of the range. I LIVE 40 MILES FROM BOTH NEWARK AND NYC. What the heck do they consider the "GREATER NYC AREA" I called Ticketmaster and was flipping out on the guy, he was like miss, please don't yell at me, I was like I am so sorry I am just so frustrated. He said it was an internet only pre-sale. He gave me some suggestions for Saturday. I called AMEX to cancel the charge and file a dispute with Miley World. Who are they to say I live to far when I am not even an hour away??? I am sooooo upset. I feel like filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau!!

Which cities did you try for tickets? I bought tickets for Newark and I live 93 miles away but still in NJ. I am afraid they may cancel my tickets. Would they do this or would the website have prevented me from buying if they considered me too far?

I was going for Newark as well. I dont think you have to worry, it wouldnt even let me purchase them, I got to the final step like 6 times with the same result.

Did you go try to purchase right from the MileyWorld website that linked you to Ticketmaster?? I went directly to Ticketmaster, typed in the MileyWorld presale code and didn't have a problem although I just checked and Atlantic city is actually showing 80 miles from me. I got 2 for Newark as well, but I'm only like 40 miles from there. I wonder if this was some glitch with the MileyWorld site. Sounds like you have every right to be annoyed!

No I went straight thru Ticketmaster, I suppose because I live in NY it was a problem but I am sure I live close to Newark than some other people who live in the state of New Jersey do. I am at work and I can't focus on doing anything because I am so annoyed over this.

I got 2 tickets for Cleveland. 4th row!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I was prepared and willing to take whatever tickets were there, but this was great. I hope everyone else lucked out as well.

((((( Ellas Mom))))

I am so sorry... what a bunch of BS. I would be flipping out also. I wonder if the restriction will be in place for Saturday also?

Also... check ebay.. a pair for AC is already at $500:sick:

No I spoke to a very nice guy at Ticketmaster, he told me to call a few minutes before 10 and also be on the computer on Saturday, so I think I will come into my office, the computers are faster and I have a headset for the phone. He said it is general sale with no restrictions. Thanks for your support.

What a complete waste of time.

I was all ready to go right at 10:00 with all my info in. I got in right away, typed in the fuzzy code thing they give you and the site comes back with an error message saying that the Java settings in my Internet Explorer are incorrect and it can't display the page.:confused3 Yeah right.

So I quickly run to the other computer (lucky we have two), turn it on, log in, get to the website and by then all the tickets for both shows are completely gone. It was only 10:10.

Well, I guess I saved myself some money. Fortunately I told DD that I would try but its really hard to get them so I hope she won't be too disappointed. I'll try again on Saturday when they go on sale to the general public. At least I know which computer to use. We won't pay more than face value for them so if I can't get them then, we aren't going.

Wow Congratulations to you:banana: I'm trying for the Cleveland show at the general sale on Saturday. Hope I have as much luck.

It is totally disgusting that I was rejected because of my zip code, HOWEVER currently on Ebay the same seller is selling 4 different sets of tickets. HOW and WHY are my questions!!!! 2400 for 4, and 3 listings for 2 tickets for 1000. Why doesnt the "promoter" stop these people from getting tickets.
Can you tell I am bitter??? LOL

I dont understand why youwould be rejected based on your zip code. Suppose you were going on vacation to Ca and decided to get tickets for a show out there or maybe you were buying them for a relative who lived in that area? You would be rejected? I would certainly be bitter too. That is outrageous. Anyone should be able to get tickets for any show. I think this whole ticket selling is insane and there should be some sort of limitation on it. Ticketmaster should not be able to hold tickets and them sell at auction. I am sorry that this happened to you.

we did all they asked, picked the tickets and so on, got the ones we wanted and completed the sale, then all that happens is a page pops up saying that the sales are geographically limited, which we knew , but according to the ticketmaster web site we were in the area. No Indication that we did not get the tickets. after a while with no confirmation info, and 1 hr on the phone the person from ticketmaster told us the order was cancelled as westchester county new york in not in the geographic area for either long island or new jersey, even though its known by everyone as the greater new york area, which is listed as ok to purchaes on the ticketmaster website.. Ticketmaster says its the promoters rules, promoter hasn't replied to emails or phn calls, called Disney directly and got thru to Robert Igers office, they say that even though its their product theirs nothing they can do.. Pretty sad state of affairs.....

I did the same thing you did. I live in Rockland. I called American Express to dispute the charge of the mileyworld fan club. It is horrible. We are probably closer than many people in NJ.

I hadn't thought of doing that, Think I will get the info from my wife and do that.. and tell my neighbor who had the same thing happen to do so also.

How did you contact Disney, I would like to lodge a complaint too. I know they have nothing to do with it, but maybe if we flood them with emails they will take some accountablitly. This is THEIR brand that is looking bad.
