They also don't turn down any lights so pay attention to lighting that might be impacting your camera (aka don't stand under a street lamp).
Brightest viewing is from the very end of springs on the west side in the only spot with no lighting (but they added some non-concrete walkways through the field). Your off center so some things are a little out of alignment and closest to center/characters of flight balloon would be looking directly at it as intended. The short cut bridge between trex and rainforest is also a little darker but again your off center so things don't fully line up and look right.
They give you almost no warning. When it first started they would give you a 2-3 minute warning but now you just hear the welcome to the show message and the show starts.
Side interesting thing which I saw the other night: There is 2 strawberry lot fenced in areas, this is where the drones are located and as they come in for a landing you can see their operating lights start to blink and they single file into their parking spot. They do guard and close down the area around it for safety but you can still get close enough to see them come home or leave and then walk by and see 300 drones blinking on the ground through the fence and scrim on it.
