What do You all think? Here are our ADR's for our trip. We are 4 adults (two are 13 and 10) and 2 children (9&5). We will be ordering a cake for our sons Birthday he will be turning 11 on the 30th.

Day 1: Brown Derby Fantasmic Dinner Package
Day 2: Ohana Breakfast
Day 3: Rose N Crown lunch
Day 4: Boma dinner
Day 5: Kona lunch
Day 6: Whispering Canyon Cafe lunch
Day 7: Donalds Breakfast

Rose N Crown is a fovorite adn we do it every trip. Whispering Canyon and Donalds Breakfast was what the kids asked for. I am not sure about Kona, Boma, and Brown Derby. DH and I have been to Brown Derby but I am not sure my older two would like what is offered on the adult menu. Boma is a buffette and I have always wanted to try it but, will my kids like it? Kona is a lunch ADR. Not sure how the kids will feel.

I want to have a cake for my son's birthday. He will have a basked delivered on the 24th so I was thinking of having a cake at the Brown Derby but, our meal includes dessert is I remember right. Whispering Canyon is the night before his birthday and that is where he wanted his birthday meal so I am thinking of having the cake there instead.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I can only offer a couple of comments as we have only been to a couple of your adr locations. We love Rose & Crown and are doing it with our friends this year (they've never been). We have not done Ohana since it was Minnie's Menehue (we don't like Stitch), but we always found the food good. We are trying Boma and Whispering Canyon for the first time this year. Neither my DH nor I liked Brown Derby when we were there five years ago--we had bad service, bland food and my DH hated the grapefruit cake. We always give places two chances, but we just can't see using two table service credits so we've not gone back. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I would get the cake wherever your son wants to have it...it doesn't have to be on his "actual" birthday. We were there for my 50th last year, and I got a little cupcake or slice of cake at every establishment we went, besides the dessert I ordered on the dining plan (and yes, I came home weighing a few more pounds than when I left :lmao: ).

Boma is one of my favorite restaurants. I think your kids will love it! You can also go see the animals before or after your dinner. Kona is another one we always do on each trip. We just love walking around the Poly :lovestruc

Boma and Brown Derby are favorites of ours (as is Rose & Crown). Our DD was worried about Boma, but loved it there! Since it is a buffet, they can try everything and just eat what they like. (There is also mac & cheese and chicken strips for the really picky kids). Our daughter tried lots of things and even liked the soups and the salads. And the desserts are great, too.

Also, it is a great way to check out AKL, which is awesome! After dinner we went outside and watched the animals out on the savannah. We almost skipped this meal since we moved resorts that day and didn't want to go "all the way" to AKL -- and wow were we glad we did!

I am not sure about Kona, Boma, and Brown Derby.

Boma is our favourite buffet at WDW. There is lots of variety and it is different than your standard buffet fare. For kids there are some of the more traditional items if they are not adventurous.

We tried Kona Cafe last year for the first time and we all felt it was the most pleasant surprise of all of the places we ate. We are eating there again this year.
