Any ideas on an average wait time with PS?

We will be eating at these places (with PS) and I am just wondering if anyone would have a guess as to how soon we should show up and if they do get you a table pretty close to your PS time?
I know it will depend on how fast the tables are turning over ~ just wondering about your experiences so that I will have something to go by :earsgirl:

Our choices so far:

Ohana
Crystal Palace
Goofy's Beach Club Breakfast
Coral Reef
Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic Package)
Tony's (does Tony's take PS, btw?)

TIA for any info!!

I have found it very unusual to have to wait more than ten minutes past the scheduled time. They do advise that you arrive about five minutes early.

We've neverwaited more than about 15 minutes. I think it will depend more on the time of the day and the time of the year, than the restaurant.

The podium is usually very crowded when the restaurant first opens, and then at peak dining times.

Yes, Tony's does take PS.

Hope this helps!

Bob

Thank you!

We will be going the last week of June next year and we will have 11 people in our group so I figured we'd better not try any sit-downs without a PS!

Thanks again! :disrocks:

You may wait a few minutes at Ohana and CP but I think you should be seated pretty much right away at the other restaurants. I waited about 15 for Ohana last time I went there, and CP is always so packed that you can barely breathe.

I agree though, it depends more on the time of day and overall crowd than the individual restaurant.

How about people who have PS's for the first seating at a character breakfast. Do most people actually show up on time for these things? If so, it could take a while to seat everybody.

The character breakfasts do sometimes take a while to seat everybody. The last one I did was at 1900 Park Fare at the GF and it took us about 20 minutes to get seated, and we were there 10 minutes early. They did not start seating until it was time for the first seating to arrive, which I thought was stupid. Maybe the buffet wasn't ready.

We did Donald's Breakfast at AK in July with a 8:15 PS. Even though a lot of people were coming in since they just opened at 8, it really moved fast. They had plenty of people to seat people.

We've never waited more then 10 minutes for any of PS.

Last fall, dh and I visited WDW for a long weekend over Halloween. We waited everywhere we had a PS. At O'Hana, we had an early seating and still waited more than 30 minutes. (Note: There were plenty of tables when we entered the restaurant.)

We've waited almost 30 mins at Crystal Palace. Never very long at Ohana, but always took an early PS. We haven't eaten at the others, but the longest we've waited with a PS is an hour and 15 mins, and that was in January at Rose and Crown. We had a 7:40 PS, arrived by 7:30 and were seated at 10 till 9.
