Any ideas for WDW trip?

Ok, well here I am planning another trip. We leave Dec. 4 for the VWL. 3 adults and 2 children. We've done WDW about 40 times together. I want to plan a very 'vacation-like' trip this time. Maybe do things off the beaten track, somthing we've never done/heard of?
Is there any ideas out there? We've done the parks, done MVMCP. We're staying 4 nights, 5 days.
I really want to show my parents a vacation, some R & R. We generally do WDW so hard, we need a vacation after our vacation.

Have you stayed at VWL before? If not, they have some great things to offer. They have a really interesting lodge tour that my DH was enjoying until DD #1 decided she was "too bored!" We rented a surrey bike one day and followed the path over to Fort Wilderness. Then we did the petting zoo there and looked around. We also took the boat over to the campground again to do the campfire/sing along/movie. We really enjoyed it for kind of a "down" night. Also the quiet pool there is really so nice and relaxing. For action we would take the kids to the main pool but if we were burnt we would just stay at the quiet pool and enjoy the surroundings.

How about mini-golf at one of Disney's places? We've never done it but if I wanted a low-key Disney experience I think I would. You could explore some resorts that you've never been to before. I've also read about a nice restaurant at one of the golf courses you could try (check the restaurant board).

Well, I'm not sure if this is R&R, But Downtown Disney is great! The Comedy Club is the best place ever!
