Hi! We're looking for ideas for a not-so-expensive breakfast on our last day, but we won't have park admission that day. We are already planning on CM for dinner, and I'd like something less expensive than that (family of 4) anyways. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Maybe Kona Cafe at the Poly?
I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard it's very good :) I want to try it on our next trip.

Where are you staying???

We love the Boardwalk Bakery on...you guessed it, the Boardwalk. You can get some breakfast treats and sit outside and enjoy the view...and watch the boats on Crescent Lake.

We are planning on going to Whispering Canyon Cafe for breakfast during our upcoming trip. Menu lists all you can eat breakfast skillet for $9.69 per person. We have eaten dinner at WCC and can give mixed reviews.

Hoping that this will be a positive experience and a good start to our next to last day at WDW.

oops, forgot to say that we're staying at WL (ASMo for the first part, but WL for the big finale :flower: )

I never even thought of the Boardwalk...actually, I've never even BEEN to the Boardwalk.

Kona...hmmm....at least I could have good coffee there! ;)

Trails End...I didn't know they had breakfast!!

Whispering Canyon Cafe...I think we might be eating there for dinner one night, since we'll be staying there. I do think it will be an experience though! :)

Thanks for the ideas!!! Off to check out some menus!!

do you want a character meal or just a "fun" breakfast ?

If a character breakfast there are just a few options:
Cape May, GF or 'Ohana

All of them are listed on allears at 17.99 for adults and 10.99 or so for kids.

The best breakfast I ever had in WDW was actually in the POR food court --the breakfast pizza was awesome. They also have a sit-down place and it's fun to feed the ducks and look at the wild life.

Trails End or WL, as posted above.

BOMA has a wonderful breakfast, and it's wonderful to look at the animals.
Mara at AKL is cheaper and has good breakfast food.

Another vote for Kona Cafe!! I think we will be having breakfast there next Friday, our last day. :sad1: I was also going to suggest Trails End. :)

for breakfast this Aug, DS13 & I are planning on:
Whispering Canyon
Kona
Spoodles
Yacht Galley

character brkfsts:
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Cape May

Tubbi's Buffeteria in the Dolphin has a inexpensive breakfast selection. You can buy juice, fruit, cereal, milk, et.. and breakfast platter is 6.95 to 7.95 and is "piled" with eggs, meat, potatoes, toast. Enough to share in my opinion. I believe they have french toast and pancakes too. It's a causal and relaxed atmosphere.

It would be a chance to check out the Dolphin and the Boardwalk. If you go be sure to take the time to walk around the main pool at the Dolphin. It's a cool pool. :cool1:

TRAILS END!!! It is my favorite! It is VERY cheap and the food is great! Plus it is such an amazing experience to be at the campgrounds!

Boma or Mara at AKL get my vote. The kids will have fun watchng the animal's after breakfast.

I was going to also say the Boardwallk bakery, but it's not worth going there from WL. But since your staying at WL I think it would be easier to get to trailsend which is reasonable and there's other stuff to do at FW also since your not going to the parks.
Or maybe downtown Disney somewhere although I've never had breakfast at Downtown Disney. There's lots to do there also. They do have a McDonalds there at DD which would be cheap also.

I say...the Boardwalk Bakery because you've never been to the Boardwalk area. They have all sorts of pastries, etc. or if you want a character breakfast Cape May Cafe is fun with a beach theme, but will probably be more than the Boardwalk Bakery cost wise. I love the BW/BC area!

I also suggest Trails End. They have menu options, but they also have an all you can eat buffet - $11 adults, $7 children. The Boardwalk bakery is nice too, but definitely not inexpensive for what you get.

Another vote for the Trails End. You can walk around and see the animals at the petting zoo after breakfast.

We usually have breakfast our last day in our hotel - that way we can eat casually, go back to the room, take showers, pack and check out. The breakfast at Roaring Fork at WL isn't anything spectacular, but it's good food and it's very reasonable. My DH and I shared a breakfast plate and had plenty. They have a tv with cartoons for the kids too.

Do breakfast in your room.
Faster way to be ready in the AM.

We bring (or do a food stop on the way to the resort) small boxes of cereal, granola bars, pop tarts. We order the family basket from the WDW florist - omit the cheese and ask for extra fruit.
Milk is available from the gift shops at the S/D and all deluxe resorts.
I am not sure about milk availabilty at the moderates & values.
We also buy a foam cooler at the food stop from our town car ride to the resort. We buy the milk the night before and store it in the cooler with ice overnight. Always cold in the AM.

We get a wake up call at 7 AM and are at the bus/boat/monorail stop by 7:45 AM. DH, DW, DS (teen) and DD (almost teen - but more 'hair time')

Our only non room breakfasts - Cindy's & Crystal Palace. We may try the Story Book Princess at Norway. But now Cindy's has lunch and so does Norway with characters - So we may just do lunch.

Just our suggestion. Food can be expensive at WDW. I do not like paying alot for a bowl of cereal or toast and eggs.

Enjoy your WDW magical vacation where you decide to eat :mickeybar
