Any ideas for Nov 19th pin event?

I went to the Spectacle of Pins last year and had a great time, unfortunatly this year... I will not be attending (only 4 days at WDW with a newbie - I don't want to spend an entire day pin trading... when it's not his thing, yet.)
I will however be at MGM that day... and I was hoping to get a few of the pins that are on the list for this event. Does anyone have any ideas of how I might be able to purchase some of those pins?

You can still register, go in to get your pins and gifts, pick up your food coupons and leave. You don't have to stay and trade.

I think the fee to sign up is $50... is that correct? It seems a little much to pay if I'm not staying to enjoy the day.
