I had a great idea and only wish I had thought of it years ago....... I was thinking about getting my dd some new pajamas with a robe(that she wants very much) and putting them in a gift bag but have it "signed" from Rudolph(his hoof print) and leaving it on the doorstep at my SIL's on Christmas Eve(where we do the family opening of presents). Any ideas on making a hoof print that would be believable for a 7 year old???

My brother used a old fashioned toilet plunger to make "hoof marks" in snow once, for his kids.

Try making a paper stencil. Then use a piece of charcol to color in the stencil. I used to make santa boot prints by the fireplace. I would make a boot stencil and then use baby powder and shake it into the stencil to look like snowy footprints left by santa. The kids loved it.

Get a pipcture of some reindeer tracks or hooves (I googled them, there were plenty of posters, etc. with animal tracks), cut a potato in half, and cut out a stamp for a track. Use some paint to make a stamp, and there you go.
