Any ideas for Father's Day gift?

My DD9 and I were at Harry and David over the weekend just browsing and they have a promotion going where they had her color a moose picture and they gave her a full size bag of moose munch wrapped in a cute little bag tied with a bow to give Dad. I couldn't believe it. If you have one near you might be worth checking out for next Saturday.

I have to post this idea which I read on a craft/decorating blog...

http://somedaycrafts.blogspot.com/2010/06/perfect-fathers-day-gift.html

The blogger bought wooden letters D and A at a craft store, took a picture of each of her kids holding a letter, then put the three pictures in a triple frame. It spells out DAD. It is so adorable. She printed the pictures in black and white, I think it would look great in an office!

Actually looking at it again I think she only has two kids, she photographed her dd holding the D, her son and daughter together holding the A, and her son holding the D.
If you have one child you could just do three different poses, or three different settings, etc.

I just thought it was so adorable. :)

I did this with my DD for Fathers day 2 years ago..... It IS so cute! My DH hung it up in his office. If you have more kids, you can do daddy also... I have seen like if there are 4 kids, do 1 of each kid, then one as a group. I have also seen this for a grandfather.. using pop pop, granddad, etc

I got DH a netflix subscription for Christmas.

Depending on how many DVD's you can have out at 1 time, and how many months you get the gift subscription for, this can be a relatively inexpensive gift!

lovin the DAD letter idea!! Im so on that tomorrow! LOL:goodvibes

I made DH a Shutterfly book of JUST pix of him with our DD7, he is gonna melt!!;)

Youngest dd got her dad a shirt and a small mag light he was eyeing. Oldest dd will be taking his car to a "car spa" for a complete detailing. We are taking him out to dinner as well.

I got my dh a relatively cheap and useful gift this year. He likes the History Channel, and traveling so I got him a subscription to the History Channel Magazine and a magazine called "Budget Traveler" . I thought it would be a gift that would keep giving all year round. :thumbsup2
