My husband and I are traveling with our 15 month old son, as well as my sister's family who has a 13 yr old son and a 9 yr old daughter. We are all staying at the WL from 28 Sept - 5 Oct. I checked the park hours for our travel time, and all the parks (except EPCOT) close early. I am hoping that each and every night the kids will be exhausted and ready for bed at an early hour. However, in the event that does not hapen, does anyone have any ideas of some things to do at night with kids for a few hours? We booked MNSSHP for Friday night, but other than that I have no ideas!!

Thanks for your help and information!!

If the weather is nice, you could head over to Fort Wilderness which is right next to the Wilderness Lodge. You may want to check first to see if the schedule changes but lately they show Disney movies outdoors each night and they also have hayrides. You could also go over to the Contemporary Resort which has a large arcade or explore the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. Another idea is to visit Downtown Disney but the buses can be a hassle for this one.

FW shows movies at night with a campfire and sing a long. Lots of fun. You can make smores and enjoy a couple Disney movies.!!

The 13 & 9 year olds would no doubt LOVE DisneyQuest. DisneyQuest is a wonderful way to spend a few hours, and there are plenty of places for the adults to sit down and have something to eat or drink while the kids are playing. There are plenty of fun things for adults to do there as well. I believe UPHs include admission, so you should definitely take advantage of it.
If the kids are into pin trading then resort hopping may be fun too--then the adults get to explore other resorts and the kids get to look for different CM lanyards to trade with.

Try the luau, Hoop dee doo Review, or Cirque du Soleil. Or spend a few hours walking around the boardwalk.

Epcot is open until 9PM. Also, the Boardwalk is usually a jumpin' place until dark thirty. You could go swimming at night or eat a late meal. How about going for ice cream at Beaches and Cream over at the YC/BC? Downtown Disney is lots of fun at night , but it can get rather crowded.

We like to take the bus over to downtown dis and get an ice cream sundae from Ghirardelli's soda fountain shop. YUM! They have a chocolate shop as well. :bounce:

Those are all such great ideas! Thank you! I never knew about the movies at FW...that will definately be on our list...along with Downtown Disney, Disney Quest and the boardwalk area. Again, thanks!

Don't forget mini-golf. There are two places on property: Fantasia (near the EPCOT resorts), and Winter Summerland (near Blizzard Beach).
