Any idea when the candy canes come out in disneyland?

I have heard so much about them and really want to try one when we go.can some one tell me when they are made? I hear there hard to get as there always in demand.

Here's the dates they had candy canes last year:

Friday, November 23
Saturday, December 8
Friday, December 14

Are these very special candy canes? I am hoping for a late November trip, and haven't heard of these yet. I love anything Christmas-y!

They are handmade in the park at the candy shoppe and they are made in very limited quantities. Here's a thread from MP all about them. I've never been lucky enough to get one myself:

How did I not know about this? We've been going to DLR every year at this time for as long as I can remember, and I have never seen these! I'll have to try to hunt some down this year.

We were at DL last year one day they were making candy canes, to get one, I would have had to spend 4 or so hours in line, and we got there shortly after they opened. They make a very very limited quanity. Sorry as much as I like candy canes, I just couldn't spend that much time in line for one.

wow I did not know there that hard to get ! So can you get as many as you want? I would so get many people one if they wished at the time I got mine.

I don't think you can get as many as you want as they only make a limited quantity each time. Last year they were $8 each. We stood for over an hour just watching them make them. Then we got in line to buy some, but didn't have to wait that long. I know it was nowhere near 4 hours. They are actually soft when you suck on them. They almost melt in your mouth.
