Any Hurricane Cruisers Still missing Refund???

I was on the Sept 26 (27) Wonder and have only received a small portion of my refund back. Disney is looking into it right now, but I wanted to see if anyone else is still having problems.

My refund should have been $720 (40% off the cruise fare only), but I have only received $277.80

It took a while but I did get all of it, it was piecemealed out in different incriments.

Did you have a travel agent or do it yourself?
I'd let my credit card company know about this stat if you paid by card.

What a horrible thing to happen after that awful month!

We had our refund as soon as we got back, but a word of caution to everyone who may have been at a Disney World hotel waiting out the hurricane. We had booked our night before cruise hotel at Radisson at the port, but due to the hurricane switched to Pop Century at Disney. Did this
with one credit card. Then had too extend stay due to the cruise delay plus we had a late arrival. The long and short of it is for the exta two nights they double billed me. Once on the card I gave them when making the reservation and and again on the card I gave them when I arrived. The reason for using two cards was I knew I would be getting the refund from the shortened cruise. I just happened to catch this when I was going through the credit card statement looking for things I could file on my cruise delay insurance policy, which by the way I got my refund this past week. It took a couple of calls to get the refund to my card for the double billing but they realized their mistake. Make sure you check your statements very closely.

Always, always keep your receipts and check your credit card statements! I know that with this refund coming in different amounts, it was a big hassle but hey, at least it all came within a month of cruising (or should I say, NOT cruising!)

IF you have a consumer advocate in your area, I'd contact him/her with this. They often have more clout than the individual does!

We got our full refund within 4 weeks of the sail date.
