We've got our selves backed into a Spring Break corner, and thought if we could get in a VB trip would be much more relaxing than the crowds at WDW. Of course, I haven't done a ton of homework yet, (what is the weather like? what is there to do there during the day? where do you fly into and out of? how do you get there? etc.) But if the odds are stacked against that even being an option I'm not sure I want to make the effort.

Any VB pros out there have any insight on this one?

If you are not including Easter (Sun 4/4/2010) you should have a chance. Worth the effort I would think. Particularly if you walk it through.

Good Luck :thumbsup2

Most of the time when we go to Vero, we fly in/out of Orlando. Once we came from the south, West Palm beach because we were doing a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale after our VB stay.

My spring break is usually the 3rd week in March. I would say that pool swimming is usually fine, but not many people go in the ocean then. The weather in most years has been coolish. It's been 2 years since we've been back in March.

We spent 6 nights this year at VB in a 1BR beginning March 28, which was spring break for our DGD and her friend. I had no problem booking at the 7 month window. I did arrive on a Saturday, however, so that may have helped.

This year that week was warm. The kids spent a huge amount of time in the pool and doing other kids oriented activities run by CMs.

Your best place to start researching VB is at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1969415. It is a huge thread and will probably answer most of your questions plus give you a TON of other information.

Enjoy!
