Any hope for GP Room Only???

The only option I had for my date was switching from CSR to SS which i'm not sure whether to do or not. But like I said above the offer has disappeared from the page now hmmmmmmmmmmm I paid 3072 for CSR water view, I could have switched to SS a deluxe studio for 2100 and a one bedroom villa for 2800

The way I understand it is this: There are a certain # of rooms/room types that are available with the discount.

From what I've read it's a percentage of bookings, rather than a specific number of rooms. But it amounts to the same thing. If the room/ resort you want is pretty full, then there won't be an applicable discount. there are almost always rooms available somewhere for the discount, but popular resorts on busy dates will likely already be too high.

Having said that, things change all the time. As people cancel things can and do open up. So it pays to keep checking.

Called in to see if there was any hint of a US release. CM didn't have anything to lead me to believe it was coming here. Didn't they offer Canadian free dining after ours? It had a longer span of dates I think.

That is weird.I just got off the phone with them about 30 minutes ago after adjusting my reservation with that discount.

I also just called about 15 minutes ago to try another CM for our resort. Again, nothing was available. Asked about any overrtime in the near future and she said she had not heard even a rumour of overtime. So strange!

Looks to me like the fact there's a Canadian RO discount out really increases the likelyhood that a US one will come soon. The fact that its not available in a lot of locations also goes with what I predicted.

Florida Resident discount rate came out today as well for October 3, 2011 - December 24, 2011. Hopefully GP rate will follow soon.

I just read on another thread the 13th is a possible date for GP.......... my week is FULL like a pigs belly ain't gonna help me none but good luck on Tuesday to those that try !

Ugh. I'm not going through this another week only to find out there's no availability. I'm close to booking the Swan.

Just saw - that rumor is for Disneyland. No real correlation. I figure it'll be at least a few days after releasing AP and FL though. So Tues is as plausible as anything.
