Any "Hidden Gems" at DLR?

Is the Pixie Hollow show still going? It wasn't when we were there in April, much to our disappointment, in fact the whole area was roped off. The cast member nearby said it had stopped. Seh wouldn't let us in to look at the little houses all lit up either, so we just went around the back and through the exit!

Not sure if this is what you're looking for...

Halloween Carnival
Lilybelle traincar
Captaining the Mark Twain
Free maps on Jungle Cruise
Penny presses (many)
Pixie Hollow light show
Oh! The petting zoo that I think is going away soon
Art gallery on Main street
Main street cinema and Mr Lincoln
Tour of Walt's apartment
Main street vehicles (I think you can ride a firetruck and carriage etc.)
Red Car Trolleys
I personally love Turtle talk with Crush (not really hidden anymore)

The Blue Dinosaur eggs next to Rockets pizza port
The disneyland cats
The little man's house
Free Pixie Dust next to the castle
Markethouse phones
The hidden bathroom
Several live performances
Fortune tellers in pieces of eight and Main street? and Aladdin's lamp
Echo circle next to innoventions
Geocache/ Letterbox
Hidden Mickeys

Hope I'm not giving out special secrets. Most people find most of these things boring.
Hey, there's a lot of new info for me here! Thank you!

Mommy26, that's a great list! My favorite is the Pixie Hollow Light Show. It's very pretty and feels so private because most park goers miss this one completely since the show is secluded in Pixie Hollow.

When do they do the Pixie Hollow light show? Looks very fun.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone! Two weeks and counting - YAY! :yay:

Anyone have any other ideas? TIA.

Even though THE secret bathroom is gone, there are still a few secret bathrooms I like.
New Orleans Square Voodoo Lady spiel by the bathrooms
Main Street Party Line in Starbucks, and then the Hotel and Dentist soundtracks on Center street by the lockers
The apple in the Snow White queue and someone peeking out of the window above the entrance to the queue every once in a while.
The musical Hunchbank thing by the princess fantasy faire area.
The Rapunzel tower in the Princess fantasy Faire lights up at night.

In DCA, I like to walk along the path behind Grizzly River Rapids queue and enjoy the WaterFall
Cute shells pressed into the Little Mermaid Queue

Does anyone know if they still offer the free Story of the Carthay Circle Tour? Did it a few months ago and it was really interesting!

I asked for a Jungle Cruise map last week while I was there and they didn't have any...bummer! :(

Asking first thing in the morning is how we got to ride the Lilly Belle. Do note it takes some time because it is "round the kingdom" no getting off (not that you would want to but just fyi). And YES to drinks at Carthay Lounge! Just sit back and relax for a bit and soak in the atmosphere of the Lounge.

Should I be asking about the Lilly Belle during EE or actual park opening time? I'd love to have a ride on her. Do you still get a special souvenir ticket?

It was a couple years ago for me, but yes we got the ticket! They aren't open at EE but people did start lining up outside the doors of Main St. station about 10-15 mins before park opening that morning. (Average visitors are allowed access to Main St before opening time so they too can line up early if they're in the know. My fam did Star Tours, which I'm happy to skip, while I made our reservation. It took me a couple attempts that trip because I didn't get there early the first time and the spots were all gone. It was summer time and you just never know what to predict with LB crowds in the morning- if they're even running it, which you won't know until they open the doors morning of.) There was a conductor with a notepad taking LB reservations, they had a couple time options to choose from. I forget exactly how many people can ride but the number is quite small, our trip was us 5 & a family of 4 & a conductor. It really is an interesting experience, I hope you get to do it!

We are here this week- Tuesday didn't have extra staff for Lilly Belle tours and Thursday only had one tour.
