We have won a skyauction bid and are staying at the Sheraton Vistana Resort in July. Will there be any surprise charges when we check in? Under the terms and conditions clause, it states responsible for all fees and assessments thru RCI exchange, I'm assuming that was the $195.00 charge I paid thru skyauction. Is this correct? Thanks

We have never paid anything more then the cost of the auction except for a room safe which was $10 for the week.

Some resorts may have an energy surcharge or other similar charges. Usually you won't have any additional charges on top of what you would expect to pay at a hotel, such as long distance charges or something of that nature.

Maybe someone who has stayed at Vistana will reply but we have never had any surprise charges when using skyauction.

actually you paid 210$ before you even started to bid

some exchanges charge resort fees and some places they mention transient tax, but i do not think florida has that "tax" in place yet

:bounce: There are no hidden charges other than stated on the various auctions. You will have prepaid to skyacution your bid price + $195 service charge and taxes + $15 booking fee. That is all you will pay. You will be asked for a credit card imprint on checkin in case you charge incedentials to the unit. Ask what areas are free calling on the phone to avoid phone charges. You will love Vistana. I stay there every winter.

Go to Vistana websight and use diamond lane section for speedy check in. www.starwoodvactionownership.com
