can anyone tell me if traditionally or ever in the past disney has offered sale on tickets and or hotel rooms to purchase for later dates ,on black friday or cyber monday sales. Looking to book up a may 2017 family vacation.

also for anyone that might know what a giant eagle store is if I buy disney gift cards there ( so I can get free gas points) can i use those cards to pay for my hotel room and or tickets online or in person

No, sorry, but no deals specifically on those two dates. Just scroll down on Disney's site to see what special offers they have. There should be a new offer out in the beginning of 2017 for late spring, early summer.

Yes, you can use the Disney gift cards both online and in person. If you use them online, keep the cards until after your trip just in case, so you have the numbers from the cards.

I do not recall ever seeing any Black Friday deals from Disney directly. There have in the past been ways to save a very small extra amount on tickets, through either a slightly larger discount from online ticket sellers (ie an extra percent of) or by extra cashback through one of the popular cashback sites. There has also been in the past extra room only discounts via Orbitz, Expedia, etc but so far this year that appears to not be happening as they do not have any Disney rooms listed available after the first of the year. I will be looking very hard for any Black Friday travel deals this year for Disney tickets, plane tickets and hotels/car rentals for our 2017 trip.

If figured that I'd mention that we've been getting free gas from Giant Eagle all year because every week we buy $100-150 worth of Disney gift cards toward our vacation (& now Amazon too weekly).

We got tired of having a jar of giftcards, so we set up a Disney Vacation Account for free, loaded up the cards through there each week and we used that to make payments on our package.
