DH and I are both HAMs.

We got them for our boat - just the first level license, not the advanced bands.

My DW and DS who is 10 just passed their tech exams this weekend. Looks like we will be trying out the WD4WDW repeater next time we are at Disney.

I just upgraded to general over the weekend at Hamcation in Orlando, of course I had to bribe the DW with a trip to WDW to let me take the test!

If you are still studying, I found this site that REALLY helped me pass my test. I read the ARRL book several times but could only get high 70 - low 80's on the sample test, after one week on this site I passed my test with a perfect score! and it's FREE!
