Any guesses on AK park hours for mid-December?

I know they constantly update hours and such, I'm just wondering if anyone has any guesses on what AK park hours might be then. I was kind of hoping on seeing Pandora at night, specifically the day we fly in to begin our stay. But if the park closes at 7 or something, this doesn't seem like such a good idea, especially since I don't really know when we'll be able to make it over there on arrival day.

Those early-posted hours (they just came out) are what the OP is asking about.

While some hours and events will remain as listed, it is currently far too early to know all of the actual hours and events for December.

Given this is the first year for Pandora and Rivers of Light, nobody can really say with any certainty what the hours will look like. This is uncharted territory.

Actually, someone who had been recently in mid-December might recall park hours and then be able to offer an educated guess, factoring in Pandora. What I really want to know is the likelihood that it closes at 7. It's not like I'm going to hunt anyone down for being wrong.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm going the first week of December and I'm hoping it will be open later than 7pm.

I'd say history is not particularly relevant here, last dec there was no Pandora, no ROL, no after dark activities at all. I think last Dec it was 7pm close, which was dark, by the way. But I could easily believe there may be some later nights this year. Best of luck with your trip.

My guess would be around 9pm with emh on some nights until 11

I really hope they extend the hours! I hear Pandora is stunning at night!
