Any guesses about what public offers will be out for October

So we have been travelling to WDW for 5 years now and have learned that during most of the year there are special offers.

We are planning to go to WDW Oct 19-26 this year which is considered Reg. season. We have never gone during this time of year and I was just wondering if there are any thoughts about what offers might be out for this time of year.

I know that we will miss free dining, but wasn't sure if anything was offered this time last year.

We have previously done free dining and 4/3 deal and am hoping for something like the 4/3 deal or the % off that Disney is currently offering.

Until then I will continue to stalk the boards and change my mind about my resort choice on a daily basis.

Last year they extended free dining into October, November and December. They have already made an official company announcement telling people not to expect those late year deals this year.

People are so used to the deals they have been offering though, and crowds might be affected once Harry Potter world opens, so I can't see Disney offering nothing this time of year. But I think it's safe to say no one really knows what to expect.

You can go to Mousesavers.com and see the history of promo's, when they were valid and when they were offered.

I know last year, they extended Free Dining through the month of Oct and I think there was a room discount, but you couldnt use them together.

Also, to let you know, I looked into a package for late October about 2 hours ago and 2 of the deluxes did not have any rooms available except suites/concierge etc... I think its going to be busy this year and that time of year!
