Has anyone been married or currently planning to get married in Florida. If so do you have any websites or advice on how to go about it. Any info at all will help at this stage.

Fantasia Sam is getting married in May at Disney, she is currently still over Florida again. But I am sure as soon as she is back she will gladly answer any questions.

Hi

DH & I were witnesses, in Oct '03, for two work colleagues.
They were married at Cypress Grove Gardens - it was lovely. There were only 7 of us in total as the bride didn't want any fuss etc just a very simple wedding and then we did the illuminations fireworks cruise at night.
I can get info for you next week, if you would like, as they are away for the New Year hols.

The website that Kaylee has given is fantastic for planning a Disney Wedding and there is also the opportunity to buy an e-book on that site which IMHO is invaluable if you want to go down a Disney route - but depending on how many guests you want it can run to a fare bit.

JustMarry.com are also a great site for planning any Orlando wedding and I've heard nothing but praise for this company.

I love the look of Cypress Grove Gardens too and also the Wyndham Hotel is another popular wedding location.

Just let me know if you need any further information - I love wedding talk.

So Steve is this for you ?

We got married in October 2003 at Cypress Grove Gardens. This place is really beautiful. There is a Mansion house where you can get changed into your wedding attire, if you like, and then the ceremony is held in a gazebo overlooking the lake. There are beautiful gardens you stroll around afterwards to have your pictures taken and/or video done. Then you can go back to the house for a glass of champagne and some cake.

We booked everything, the venue, the car, flowers, the photographer, the video and even the hairdresser/makeup woman through a company called Crownline, here is their email address, Crownlinewedding@aol.com. I have to say they were brilliant, both here in the UK and in the States and everything went smoothly.

We had a fantastic day, in a wonderful setting (afterwards we went to V&A for dinner in the evening) and all our family and friends who have viewed the photos and video have said how lovely it all looked.
