Taco's are my boys fav meal, and I just know they are going to ask
TIA :)

They have tacos at the three food places in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot. But they are probably not the tacos your boys are used to (the Taco Bell/Tex Mex type with meat, lettuce, cheese, and maybe tomatoes and sour cream).

At the Mexico CS, La Cantina, they have Pico de Gallo and beef brisket or grilled chicken, with a lime on the side you squeeze over.

In La Hacienda, they have Shrimp Tacos served with cabbage, salsa verde, and chipotle lime aioli.

In San Angel Inn at dinner, they have Rib Eye tacos with scallions, avacado, and red bell pepper sauce.

Over at Epcot the San Angel Inn table service restaurant inside the pavillion and outside the pavillion next to the lake the Cantina de San Angel counter service with the Hacienda de San Angel table service right next to it.Over at MK I'm thinking Tortuga Tavern at MK,although that place seems to be closed most of the time and I believe they only have burritos and taco salads. In the Coronado Springs resort you have the Maya Grill which is a table service place and just offsite out side DTD on 535 I know there's a Qdoba,no more than a 5 minute drive from DTD.It definitely seems Disney could add some more in the Mexican food category,in Downtown Disneyland in Anaheim they got a Tortilla Jo's which I would have been much more excited about if it came to DTD in Orlando than the most recent addition of Pollo Campero.I haven't eaten at the DTD Campero but I know at the ones I've eaten at that you can get tortillas with some of the meals and they also have a salsa bar,so if you wanted you could make your own little chicken soft tacos.

Paradiso 37 in DTD has Mexican food. I believe they have soft tacos with either pork or steak. Kids menu may have regular taco, not sure though. A few years ago Trails End over at Fort Wilderness had a taco bar for lunch. I have no idea if they still do this, but it was really good. If you call Disney Dining they should be able to confirm.

DH loves the taco salad from Peco Bills...the toppings bar really jazz it up too

La Cantina de San Angel @ EPCOT
Tacos de Carne - smoked beef brisket tacos served on fresh handmade corn tortillas with Pico de Gallo, lime and corn tortilla chips $11.95

I have only had the nachos but they are really good!:thumbsup2

Not sure what kind of Mexican food you have where you are but the Taco Salads at Pecos Bill's are probably most like Taco Bell.

The food in Epcot is more like what you get in Mexico (sort of) and if you like California/Arizona Mexican food you might like it.

One thing I learned, no matter HOW much I crave Mexican food NEVER eat it elsewhere when you live in a place famous for that type of cuisine. It's not a good thing.:lmao:

Hey - we just found a Mexican place in Kissimmee - Taqueria Casas by the Walmart in Kissimmee - it was AWESOME. Cheap, and seemed authentic. It's a bit of a ride - but man, it was GOOD.

We go to the crossroads about 1 mile from DTD and eat Mexican at Chevy's, it is very good and the price is reasonable. But beware they serve big portions

There's always the Pirate Taco Place at MK. They used to have decent shredded beef, but not anymore. And they are hardly ever open. But you never know....you might get lucky and be able to order a taco there!!

I actually had lunch at Tortuga Tavern at MK last week! It's right across from Pirates, and they have indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is a little bit limited, but they do have a taco salad. They give you the taco salad shell, filled with taco meat. After getting it, you head over to the fixin' bar, where you fix you own food. They have lettuce, cheese, salsa, etc. I love it because you can load it up with as little/as much of the ingredients that you want. If your kids don't like the chunky salsa that is on the bar, there is also a basket of "regular" taco sauce in the packs (taco bell style) on the end of the bar as well.

In the past few trips, I've always found this place to be open, but only at lunch. It was open from 11-3 on my last two visits. The listed price for the taco salad is $8.19...I found it pretty yummy.

Happy dining :-)

This place has never been open when I have been there. I hope it is for our Nov trip, but I doubt it. It just has an inviting vibe. I love the atmosphere for a QS stop, I'd love to dine in AL.pirate:

San Angel Inn in Epcot has great food. Another idea would be in Magic Kingdom at Tortgua Tavern, they have tasty burritos.
