hey fellow Disney goers! Looking to take a trip for either Halloween or Christmas, but the hotel pickings are pretty slim at the moment. Lots of dates already sold ou and what exist are pretty high in rates. In the past I've seen ppl share some pretty sweet promo codes on here and I am hoping some travel guru can help me out. Any good deals? Thanks in advance

Occasionally someone will post a really great one on here....Hope someone can help you out! We booked our room back in the middle of July for the Christmas season and even then rooms were hard to find! Good luck hotel hunting!!

Another Newbie..... :welcome:

There really aren't any specials through Disney that I know of right now.
The only thing that might work for you is DapperDays. It's an event at DLR but a non-Disney one.
Here's a link to their website. http://dapperday.com/fall-2017-disneyland-ca
It free to join/sign up with the site.
They have great rates for all three of the Disney hotels. $239, $259 and $319/night.
If you sign on to DD and one of the event days is part of your stay, you can get the event rate.

Good luck

Geemo

Thank you for the welcome! These boards are awesome and I can't wait to learn more about all things Disney

Thanks for the information on dapper day, I will look into it!

Back in the spring I had booked our short trips for July and September, but it was too early to book for December. A couple weeks ago I realized I never booked anything for December and prices across the street were triple what we're paying at the end of this month. I did a search online and got a decent price at a walking distance hotel in December. It's not as close as I'd have liked, but it will work. I booked two different weekends because I am not sure when we'll go and the price was $115/night for one and $125/night for the other. Desert Inn was almost $300/night for the same weekends. Crazy!

Yes, this is what we are finding out. Everything us either sold out or the prices are killer. May I ask what hotels you are looking at? What hotel is $115?

Have you seen this one? I think it's been added in the last day or two.
Go to this link and scroll down to the sixth offer and click on it for details.
If you're an AP holder scroll down to the tenth offer and click on it for details.
https://disneyland.disney.go.com/offers-discounts/

These will sell out fast for popular dates.

That was the Alpine Inn. It's behind Carsland on the same side of the block as Disneyland. It's still a walk, but it's not too bad.
