Any good ideas for "couple costumes"?

The best couples costume I ever saw was one my parents did a long time ago. My mom dressed as Peter Pan and my Dad dressed as Tinkerbelle. It was hi-lar-ious.

It's even Disney themed!

The wife and I swap ideas each year, now we pick something to try to humiliate the other:

Jesters
M&Ms
Bees
Fly/Bee
Red Riding Hood/Wolf
Dorothy/scarecrow
Dorothy/witch (last year/but we won best couple)
Peter Pan/tink
Red and Gobo from Fraggle rock (this year)

We got an incredible response from the Fraggle costumes, it was the best yet.

Christian Gray and Ana Steel. Lots of props available, but carry the book with you. It will be a good ice breaker!

The only way I'd know who you were if you did this was by seeing the book. I haven't read them so just going off a costume I'd have no clue. lol

My husband and I were Red Riding Hood and the wolf dressed as grandma one year for MNSSHP (it was a huge hit!) and last year we were a pirate wench and he was Jack Sparrow.

That was us last year, Red Riding Hood and he had the wolf mask that articulates with your face. It was A-mazing! LOL

i don't dress up, but about 25 years ago, I saw a couple that I thought was really funny and clever. They were both Hershey candy bars and the guy's costume said with nuts. It was really funny.

We did Almond Joy(him) and Mounds (me) one year. Sang the song and won first prize

Last time DH and I went to a halloween party, we went as Remy and Linguine.
It was a big hit!!

We are going with Medieval Lady/Princess for DW, Knight for me, baby dragon for 15 mo DS - he's a friendly, helpful dragon, not one that I'm trying to slay to protect the fair lady.

One year we were "prisoners of love".

Black pants i put white tape for stripes, white shirts i used black electrical tape for stripes, black shoes had white tape for stripes, we had prison uniforms.

On the shirt i put the date of our "jailing" which was our anniversary. I made prison hats for us to wear and a "ball and chain" for him to wear/carry.


Another year we were killer bees from Saturday Night Live. Black pants/yellow tape stripes, yellow shirts/black tape stripes, antennas and fake blood coming out of our mouths and we carried plastic machine guns and I strung up some plastic bugs to hang from the guns as our victims.
