Any good discount stories from past April's?

I know many of you go to WDW on a yearly basis, so I was wondering, what's the best code you've ever gotten?

I'm mainly interested in past April codes.

Just wanted to know what kind of discounts you guys got for that time of year?

Were you able to upgrade to a better resort? Or spend an extra day? What was the total savings percentage?

Just curious about these discounts. Anyone have any good stories please post. Thanks very much.

The last two years, a code has come out in late Feb. for free parkhopper & waterparks when you book for April & May. I went in May, so I'm not sure when the April dates stated (whole month vs. last couple of weeks). I'm still hoping for that code again this year

Yes-last years water park and more option was added as well as discounting about $300 off entire package...and I thought that was so great.I learned alot this past year!

Last year we were able to get a 25% discount on room only for our April Disney vacation. We had booked with AAA hoping for a better discount to come around. A code came out, not sure exactly when, just a couple months before our dates and we were able to apply it to our existing ressie at the Poly. It did save us some money but we have been able to get much better deals in the past. (In 2004,we received a postcard for POR for $79 per night.) Seems the really big discounts just aren't as available as they once were.

I forgot to mention that I'm a recent AP holder and was wondering if those discounts differ from the ones to the general public?

We received by email an upgrade from POP to SSR 1 bedroom. Unfortunately for us we were only there one night (and I hadn't discovered this DISboard yet!)

We did everything you are not supposed to do but still managed to have a great time.
