any good car rental deals for December? Is something like priceline better?

Has anyone found any good deals on car rentals for 'December? I am looking for 5 days Wed. night - Mon. night. Best I have found so far is $150 with Alamo. Do you think this is a good deal? Should I try something like priceline instead? I am not sure about that because you don't know who you are renting with until after you commit and I want to rent at the airport.

i just got a great deal on alamo...used code sunpromo and costco coupon...carrentalsavers has other coupons available if you arent a costco member for 25 off a week. 10 days fullsize $215 including tax!

I did priceline Dec 10-19, full size @ $15.00 per day. You have to pay right away if bid is accepted but I was okay with that.

I did price line and got Hertz $14/dy, full size for a total of $162.93 for 7 day, 11/30-12/7.
