Any "gifts" at a DVC sales presentation?

I'm interested in attending a DVC presentation during my next trip.

Do the salesmen offer anything for attending; such as, park tickets, gift cards or dinner?

I haven't attended one recently. We were paying rack rate when we toured and had a coupon in our room good for $100.00 if we would attend.
At the end of the tour, we had ice cream and were taken to whatever park we wanted to go to. We also received a lovely hardbound book and various other pieces of printed material and 2 $50.00 gift vouchers that could be applied toward our bill or spent at any number of places. We spent our at Mouse Gear.

Someone who has toured more recently will chime in soon.

They'll give you a couple of fastpasses for 3 rides. These fastpasses look just like a room card and your fastpass becomes valid as soon as you enter it into a fastpass machine, no waiting for the time window to arrive. I was pretty excited about getting the fastpasses, and wasn't really paying much attention, with our daughter jumping all over the place. Still, we walked away as members and with a bag of free animal crackers as well.

In January, my parents attended a tour/sales presentation. DH & I tagged along because we wanted to see the BLT models.

Both of my parents received a Disney gift card ($25.00 each, I think). DH & I did not get anything.

On our last tour we got 2 $25 gift cards, and before that we got FP,but we took our tour late on our last day and every fastpass machine was done for the day by the time we got back to the parks. Oh well, Now we are looking for the right resale and hope to be members soon!!

You could always take the tour and learn about the Disney Vacation Club and then check out the resale websites and see what is available. Saving money is always a great gift.

That won't be a problem anymore. With the birthday fastpasses, they leave one FP machine still functioning for special use now.

I got free DVC lemonade and bought in without a second thought. What do they put in that stuff?

... eta: I believe we got the icecreams at the end too too, but the world was just a blurr by that point so I may not be recalling correctly that the Cm behind the counter was a green 3 eyed walrus on the college program.

We toured and bought last week, and we got 2 $15 gift cards and 2 special fast passes for 3 rides. When we signed the contract, we got another 2 fast passes along with ice cream. Oh, and the best part....we now have 160 points plus an extra 160 points for the first year at AKL. In addition, we got a $2,500 discount on the price of the time share. We're happy and already are planning our trip back to AKL for next year.

when we toured last fall we got the $100 gift card and when we purchased 200 pts at AKV couple days later we got the 3 fast passes each and then DW bugged our CM enough that he came back with 2x $15 gift cards..... many thanks to Nick as he kept DW happy..... like she says doesn't hurt to ask worst they can say is sorry don't have any.......

When we bought in to BLT in May, they gave us 4 instant fastpass cards each with 4 fastpasses on them. Seriously though, we just spent $25,000.00, you think they'd give you a little something extra. Oh well. Sorry, forgot about the ice cream. OK, now I'm happy.

We received 5 FP cards good for 3 FPs each plus the ice cream. We were stoked! I took this trip with a Disney muggle hubby and came back owning DVC!

Can you make arrangments to attend the DVC before taking your trip?

Not sure if you are asking about the main DVC office in Sarasota Springs or a DVC location you are interested in. The main DVC has models of BLK and AKV if you are interested in viewing. LMK and I can give you some more information. We bought just two weeks ago while we were on the Wonder. We saw the models when we pulled into port.
