I was working the tragically doomed show this past Friday night. I have loved Gavin for quite some time and this was my first time working with and meeting him. I was soo ecstatic to see him. He was so sweet and down to Earth (which I figured he would be). The show was amazing. I just realized last night after months on Dis that you could do threads such as these on the Community board. Yay. Now I can find other Gavin fanatics. There's a lot of backstory if you read my trip report in the link below. But here are some pics from Friday night....

I like him. Saw him a few times when he opened for Barenaked Ladies. Saw him again with Tobi Lightman in Central Park.Really enjoy his music!

He's great! I love the Chariot CD, but still need to fully listen to the new one. I have it, but just haven't had the chance to listen to it all yet. I caught him in concert a few years ago when he was touring with Michael Tolcher.

This was my first live Gavin show. Loved it! I wish I could find my Chariot CD. I hid it from DH...he played it 24/7 and now I'm the obsessed one. Where did I put that disc???

MEMEMEME!!!!!! I looove this guy; I actually had no idea what he looked like when I first started listening to his songs, but then I saw a picture (on your TR thread actually) and he's such a cutie! Not only talented, but he seems like a really NICE guy, which seems to be rare these days. What adorable pics with your kids!

Love him! I think he is great. Ironically, the first time I had heard of his music, it wasn't him singing. It was Chris Richardson from AI a few seasons back. He sang one of his songs and I really liked it. Then I heard the real version on the radio and have loved all his songs (and him) since. He is coming to our town next month I think, to a small venue and I would love to go. If we had a babysitter I would go for sure!

If you get the chance to go to a small venue do it! This street party was a low crowd and it was so intimate. Those are the best shows! His music is great but it's not so main stream right now. That's okay...we all know about him! That's all that matters.

Didn't Bo Bice do his song on AI too? Someone did a while back...I haven't watched it in years but I hear people use his songs a lot on there now. "I Don't Want To Be" will always be one of my favorites! "Cheated on Me" is my current fave. Gavin actually coached the contestants on another countries Idol show.

Um, yeah my trip report speaks of him often. hahahaha
