We leave in a few weeks and, even though it's my fourth trip, this is the first time I'm going and knowing about Scoop Sanderson and his pin trading. LOL!

Are there any other "hidden" opportunities for pin trading? I think I heard someone say there was a pin trading book somewhere at AKL. Is that still the case? DD9 and I collect together and I want to amaze her a little this trip. :rotfl: (She's 9. I won't be able to amaze her much longer. LOL!)

TIA!

When I went in January, there was a pin trading board at the Mousegears in Epcot. I don't remember the exact times but I think it was like 3 and 5.

I also saw a board at one of the small gift shops in the World Showcase.

Wilderness Lodge has a pin trading book at their pin trading cart, available whenever the cart is open.

Downtown Disney has a pin trading book at the Villian Store in the big World of Disney Store. I believe there is a sign that says when the book comes out.

And of course you can trade with any cast member who is wearing a pin trading lanyard.

WDW is also having a special for whenever you buy $30 worth of pins at the different pin trading stores you can buy a hidden mickey completer pin for a $1.00.

I believe the World Showcase board referred to is located at the Outpost if I'm not mistaken. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Sometimes I think you have to ask to see it as it's not always displayed. Again, my details may be off a bit.

the contemporary has pin boards in the gift shop in the middle of the 4th flr and the gift shop where they sell snacks etc (convience store type) - you have to ask to see it though as they keep it hidden underneath but you can trade any time of day

Most of all the hotels have some sort of pin trading boards but at certain times

Mousegears has their pin board I know for sure at 1pm and I think the other time was either 3 or 5pm

Did scoop start up the pin trading talks again? I know when I was there in May they had been discontinued
