any restrictions on food that cant be taken through customs

i was unsure if like USA you can't take dairy or meat but doesnt seem to say

was going to pack some essentials to tide us over as staying at DCR

We go thro tunnel every time now and never had any trouble taking any food products. We go camping or in mobile home so usually have lots of supplies with us

This will help regarding what you can bring back in to the UK. French customs will have their own restrictions. From a quick look at google I've come up with this link. Grey areas I'd say are dairy and meat products, especially anything that needs refridgerated
