Any Flu Bugs Going Around Now? - Update

DD has been complaining for the last four days of not feeling well. One minute she is fine, the next minute she is saying she feels like she is going to be sick. She has also had to spent a great deal of time in the bathroom the last couple of days.

Last night, we went to Epcot. She was fine when we got there. We walked around World Showcase and were making our way toward Test Track when she started feeling bad. We came home and she went to bed. This morning she gets up and suddenly she gets sick.

She is not running a temperature. She just feels nausous off and on and is having trouble eating. Has anyone else had anything like this? I can only think it is some type of flu bug, but I don't know of anyone else having anything like this.

I'm in a different part of the country from you but I'm finally starting to kick something similar. Mine was a little milder (I never threw up) but I was experiencing just waves of nausea. I'd be fine one minute and could hardly sit up the next. My stomach wasn't treating me very nicely either.
Hope she's feeling better soon!

probably not a flu, since influenza is a respiratory illness primarily. Sounds like another kind of virus, though. Hope she is feeling better soon. We had a stomach ailment flying through our nursing school last week or two. It definitely took a few days to feel better.

Well, we just got home from the clinic. When DD starts vomiting, she can't stop. She just goes on and on. She has severe IBS and I think that is one of the reasons this happens to her. They did some blood work and put her on an IV. They also gave her something to stop the vomiting. She's sleeping now and I have some more of the drug if she needs it. It is just a bug going around. Gee, I can't wait to get this one!

Yup, just checking in on this one... I can give you an affirmative here in Massachusetts My son is showing symptoms of nausea now... half the kids in his & my DD's class have been out & now perhaps it's our turn... it involves nausea & vomitting, I don't know if any of the kids had a fever....
